Hey yall, please like this up so everyone can see it. The easiest way is to find the ID and search for it multiple times in the registry. When you find one delete it but make sure to delete all the files within that specific folder. It'll say you cant delete default, then back out the registry and open it again and do find and input ID back into there. When you go to extensions it should not say its dsiabled in the google chrome extensions it shouldbe completely gone. "I REPEAT IT SHOULD BE COMPLETLY GONE WITHIN THE GOOGLE CHROME EXTENSIONS." This guy on the video still has the virus on his registry. I hope this helps so many of you!
Just a tip for anyone who is having a hard time finding where in the registry the extension key is stored. There is a find feature in regedit. You can copy the ID of the malicious extension and search the entire registry for any references too it.
I should mention that you should open safe mode with network so you can open google and copy the extension's id, so you can press ctrl+f in the registry and shearch for the i(MULTIPLE TIMES, AND KEEP DELETING EVERYTHING WITH THAT ID UNTIL THE SHEARCHES WONT SHOW NOTHING!!!), after that you should have completed the procedure.
@@asherthegamingwizard7755Maybe you have multiple of them? Kinda don’t know what action I should take because I don’t wanna delete anything that may be important to getting rid of this thing. It sounds like the registry is still there have you checked (win + r and typing regedit). It will keep loading back up until that specific registry (same id as shown on the google extension, turn dev mode to see it, its on the same page as the extensions) is deleted . Let me know what happens

Another thing, seems I can remove the extension from the chrome, but the settings page still says mine was under managed by organization (which is a personal pc so f*** this). If I check the extension folder. There will be another extension, with different id, stays there without showing on the chrome setting page. And I get nothing from searching that 'extra' extension id in reg. So the malware is still in my system, adding the extension everytime.

Make sure that you are searching for the ID in the registry MULTIPLE times. I found 10+ places on my computer that the ID was located. All you need to do is go to the edit tab at the top of the registry, paste the ID and click 'find'. You can keep pressing f3 after that to go to the next location the ID was found.

i tried it on adblocker for youtube didnt work please help
It didnt help!!! I’ve tried all ways you show and they dont work, in registry editor i find that extension but when im trying to delete it, it says error I dont know what to do, can someone tell me what can i do in this situation?
everytime i try to delete it it says cannot delete all specified values please help me as soon as possible
i have this issue did you fix it??
I can simplify the Registry editor
1. Find the extension and the ID of that extension
2. Then open up Registry editor
3. Do CRTL+F and paste the ID on the box that pop up
4. The box will be highlighted if not just find the one that has the similar ID
5. Now delete it since it’s the virus
6. Then check chrome if it’s gone
Also you can use everything software, that literally finds anything on your computer in just a second. Copy the name of an extension in the search bar and delete anything, that contains that name. Can help
This really helped me.
it says 'unable to delete specified values when i trie to delete the default program anyone can help?

Hey could I reach out to you through discord and schedule a call or something? I followed all the steps and the extension keeps repeating
Something that made it easier to find the ID is copy it and use the find tool
can someone tell how do i know if the extension is a virus or not
i am having an issue, when i open the browser, it is managed by an organisation, it has the extension Apps 1.0(that i am not able to delete), it has a file on my pc, 'zope-1.0-py39haa95532_1', what all this is doing is that iy removed the images oprtion from my browser. If anyone can help me ill appreciate it
I have no idea what I would do without your video 🥹
Mine is showing an error after trying to delete "Unable to delete all spicified values"
Same
Hey so if it gives you that error just do the following
1) You need to right-click in the file "Google" and then click on "permissions"
2) Then hit the "advanced" button
4) On the top, it would be in blue and says "change"
5) Then in the description box, you put "everyone", click on "check names" and then you click on "ok"
6) Now you would have to check the two boxes, one is on top and the other is on the bottom that say
"replace all child object..."
7) Then you hit apply and apply again.
the avg antivirus actually helped thx guy

Will you please make a tutorial on how to solve this if the extension is on Edge?
I will double check but it should follow the same concept, get the ID of the extension locate it in regedit and remove it
