You won't believe Tursunjan Toxti is not a professional musician. He works at Hotan Perfecture Libarary as the vice head of the library. Even so, he is still better Tembur player than most of the professional Tembur players. His left hand sliding technique is so amazing. This librarian can be considered one of the top Tembur players in not only Hotan, but also the whole Uyghur land. He is also master Dutar and Harmonica/Accordion player. He's been actively collecting and arranging Hotan folk songs together with Turajan Obulqasim. Ghezelhan Yurushi, Baghlarda Yurushi are fruits of their collaborated efforts. He is also active music educator. He taught many kids Uyghur instruments and music, including his own kids. In this video we also featured his eldest son Dilshat Tursun several times. At the very young age of 13-14, Dilshat already is master Dutar player. I can't imagine how good musician Dilshat would be in the future. His daughter Dilraba also is a good dutar player.
