Yeah, the voice actor and voice director were what made a lot of these lines work. Supergirl's mind games with Galatea in "Panic in the Sky" look pretty cheesy on paper, but they manage to sell them with the delivery.
To be fair this was a cartoon for children back when it was airing. But the cartoon also catered to adults as well even though it was considered PG back in the days.

They should make Galatea's lore the official Powergirl lore. Like, one of the main reasons they have an issue making Powergirl work in main line continuity is that her backstory depends on multiverse shenanigans. If they just went with something simple like "She is Supergirl's clone made by Cadmus" her origin would seem way less convoluted.

Galatea was essentially JLU's Power Girl. The DCAU only dabbled into the multiverse element, and they used it very sparingly. It was essentially just an evil Superman plot point, but they left it at that. Which was fine, really. We don't need a million Supermans or even a dozen Supermans. But, because there was no multiverse, that meant there was no Power Girl, so they had to make a new one up. I liked what they came up with.
It was never really confirmed one way or another, but given that Kryptonians and Argonians have an in-show history of recovering pretty quickly from near-death under a yellow sun, it's fairly likely that Galatea eventually survived. I heard that it was once written on Wikipedia that Galatea ended up in recovery having to relearn basic motor functions. Since that statement is nowhere to be seen on Power Girl's Wiki page, though, I'm gonna assume that someone was just trying to spread rumors or even their own head canon.
She should have been tossed into the phantom zone. Solves everything. Also whatever happens to Dr. Hamilton. He betrayed supergirl and Superman because he let his fear control him and went down this path.
To be darn honest, cryptonian phisiologie combined with our sun makes for a perfect environement for her to heal , so yes, I am damn sure she survived that , BUT BEING ON WALLER'S SHIT LIST ...... that tends to have disastrous consequences .

Galatea's an underrated villain! It's too bad that she's underutilized in this show. Her rivalry with Supergirl reminds me of Sonic and Shadow's from the Sonic games (especially Sonic X). Except it's human female version, their rivalry is more antagonistic than competitive, Galatea was purposely meant to be Supergirl's faker, not to mention that Galatea is more eviler than Shadow and has no humane qualities if that makes sense here.

They should make Galatea's lore the official Powergirl lore. Like, one of the main reasons they have an issue making Powergirl work in main line continuity is that her backstory depends on multiverse shenanigans. If they just went with something simple like "She is Supergirl's clone made by Cadmus" her origin would seem way less convoluted.

Give Monkey Boy the Super Friends of the '70s and '80s, anyday. JLU was too sexy and violent for my taste.
Show was most certainly not underated, it was one of the most viewed superhero shows of the time, a beloved classic.
Galatea was essentially JLU's Power Girl. The DCAU only dabbled into the multiverse element, and they used it very sparingly. It was essentially just an evil Superman plot point, but they left it at that. Which was fine, really. We don't need a million Supermans or even a dozen Supermans. But, because there was no multiverse, that meant there was no Power Girl, so they had to make a new one up. I liked what they came up with.

It was never really confirmed one way or another, but given that Kryptonians and Argonians have an in-show history of recovering pretty quickly from near-death under a yellow sun, it's fairly likely that Galatea eventually survived.
I heard that it was once written on Wikipedia that Galatea ended up in recovery having to relearn basic motor functions. Since that statement is nowhere to be seen on Power Girl's Wiki page, though, I'm gonna assume that someone was just trying to spread rumors or even their own head canon.

To be darn honest, cryptonian phisiologie combined with our sun makes for a perfect environement for her to heal , so yes, I am damn sure she survived that , BUT BEING ON WALLER'S SHIT LIST ...... that tends to have disastrous consequences .

This character is the source of every unknown fate. Because they made Emil Hamilton betrayed Supergirl by lying they have disposed Galatea, and "assume" what happened to him in the final series.

Galatea's an underrated villain! It's too bad that she's underutilized in this show. Her rivalry with Supergirl reminds me of Sonic and Shadow's from the Sonic games (especially Sonic X). Except it's human female version, their rivalry is more antagonistic than competitive, Galatea was purposely meant to be Supergirl's faker, not to mention that Galatea is more eviler than Shadow and has no humane qualities if that makes sense here.
