Omg thank you for this video. I've been using this staple remover incorrectly. Thank you soo much for educating us on how to use this the right way. Must watch video!!
I would not say that I was using the staple remover incorrectly until now because it took only one step to remove it from the opposite side. What you showed takes two steps to remove it. Your comment?
🤭 I’ve been yanking the staples out by the flat side for YEARS! 😁 I shall be doing it your way in the future (that’s if habit doesn’t get the best of me). 😁 💚
Thank you. You just proved my point that came up in two recent disagreements. Opening the arms or ribs first and then pulling the spine out with a letter opener or your nails does the trick nicely. Pull out one side of the loosend staple first. Then use it to straighgten out the part left underneath. Then remove that part. Cinch.
No you haven't. This guy is doing it wrong! When you pull the staples from the "line" side, there is no wiggling. No coaxing it out. And the staple holds to the staple puller!
Wtf dude you're doing it wrong Oo You first unfold the folded metal of the staple and then use the staple remover on the flat part, pulls it out with way less effort and possible damage to the paper Oo Oh boy ...
. I thought Staple Remover tool always suck because they just rip the paper. So I resorted to using my fingers to lift the claws of the stapler and remove it manually. Little did I know the tool is supposed to be used at the back of the paper... duuuhhh.
Not to brag or anything, but I can remove paper staples with my fingernail. Don't do it until you know for sure your fingers and nails are able to handle it. Light sheets are ok, but bundles may break your finger nail if you are not careful. I sometimes use scissors to tuck under and pry it out while squeezing the handle, kind of like a surgeon with forceps. You could also use a pen, although they have a habit of snapping easily under pressure. The best stapler remover is one shaped like a pen and has the metal part at the edge, making horizontal and vertical staple removing easy without bending the wrist.
Omg… I was in Netherlands embassy in front of ambassador and he gave me this tool and said please remove the pins from your documents and I didn’t new it how to use that tool so I keep the tool and remove the pins by using pencil in instead of that tool. It was so embarrassing 🙈 for me 🫣
Never thought I'd have to watch a toturial on how to use a staple remover.
Did you come from r/askreddit??

Yet here we are
@@Banks-gd1in new toy?
HAHAHHAHAHAHA
You can then use the device for step #2 as well. Istead of possibly denting the paper as you try gripping beneath the staple.
also #3 or #4
hilarious...he does not know how use one, did not show the hole in the side to grip partially removed staples...and why did it take 3 + min...lmao
@@markwarriner9811 "hole in the side to grip partially removed staples" ?????
Marring the paper or breaking a nail!
I was wondering why he was using his fingernail instead of the device lol
FINALLY! You're the only person, other than myself, who I've seen use one of these things correctly.
It took me 24 years of life to learn what this is and how to use it :D thank you

I agree. Front removal is one step. The best way
um use the winged part on the side of the staple remover instead of your finger to prop it out.
My staple remover brothers and sisters will probably rid the world of staples.
Lmao
Finally! I know how to use it now 😸

I also do it from the front and I don't think that will change lol 😆
@@kimspangenberg7067 I think doing it from the front is a lot faster and does the same job with less flipping back and forth....

I like it.
But for me, it is much easier to use letter knife, lift both sides and then pull.
Very helpful video. Thank you
I'm almost 30 and have been using this thing incorrectly. smh

Wow, amazing tool and tutorial how to use this stuff
Um. I just do it on th3 opposite site and it pulls right out no damage and only one step rather than 2
I just go for the spine, not lifting those ends. No time for that. You can attached it to the spine and pull it nicely and faster.
why does it look like a medieval torture device
I was today years old when I learnt how to use a staple remover😂😂
Oo 😊 thanks 👍🏻
thank you so much! now I know how to use it
Excellent
I have always used it from the other side and it automatically pulls the staple out without damaging the paper.
Been looking at these all my life and just today thought about how they are used. Turns you dont just rip staples out with them.
Well that is very useful tutorial
Thank you when I was using the staple remover I was doing it wrong
Thank you!
Make a video on where it bites cardboard and paper

Omg… a 3 minute video that should’ve been 30 seconds long! 🙄
You are wrong
You have to press on flat side
So it will directly come out no need to do anything after that.
