@@Point-taken Marxism and Pan-Africanism. There have been other Marxist, Pan-Africanist parties before them, but EFF is very much the biggest, though much of its strength lies in its being perceived by many young blacks as the anti-ANC. But the EFF love to shout and yell and make a lot of noise and have big rallies funded by big donors, but they don't have any discipline. It remains to be seen if the EFF can continue to pull the wool over the eyes of much of the public as they did in the last two elections.

@The_Dark_Lord-69 ANC didn't do much fighting against Apartheid, they just won the propaganda war. IFP and BCM did far more than the ANC to end Apartheid, and then the ANC went to war with the IFP for political dominance when it was clear that the SA citizens who were allowed to vote, would vote to end apartheid. They did so well with their Propganda that the whole world has forgotten about everyone else who was involved in the struggle movement, and believes the ANC did it all on their own while in fact they were living comfy lives in exile in Europe on money donated by Europeans to help end apartheid. The end of Apartheid does not justify ANC rule

Perfectly true. Actualkythis road us not as bad as most in the ANC-ruled provinces I made the journey by car from zcaoe Town to the KZN coast. Crossing the border from the DA-ruled Weztern Cape province into the ANC-ruled Eastern Cape and again into the ANC-ruled KZN was like going from a First World country into two Third World slums. Roads were overgrown with weeds, pot holes were just about everywhere, surfaces were uneven, disintegrating or poorly patched and bumpy. The roads mirrored the rezt of the I infrastructure, all of it neglected, crumbling, dilapidated. Under the rule of a kleptocratic government, how could it be otherwise? The electorate can change this but are told by the ANC and EFF leaders that the DA ruling the Western Cape is "a white party". Little do they realise how racist that statement us.

We drove that road earlier this year, it wasn't quite that bad. Yes, the colour of the road surface changed and the road marking disappeared once one passed the "Welcome to the Eastern Cape" sign, but it was drivable and without potholes (all repaired).

Shocking, but the absolute truth. We lived in George for 10 years and it was always well run and maintained. When potholes appeared, they were fixed within days. Never allowed to turn into swimming pools.

I am absolutely gobsmacked!! I did the bloukrans bungy in 2016 I think it was, and drove this road from PE to Cape Town. People really need to open their eyes. It's no longer about the race card anymore, though it's constantly played. It's about this beautiful country's future.. we can clearly see who has this country's best interests at heart and who doesn't..

Instead what happens is everyone moves from the ANC-run Eastern Cape to the DA-run Western Cape because things actually work there (instead of actually fixing the problems in the EC)... and then proceeds to vote ANC. I don't get it.
