My wife has a front basket on her bike to hold her purse and things you want in front of you to keep an eye on. I have a rear rack to carry bulky, less important stuff like a milk crate, small cooler, snacks, some basic tools, etc. We both have front and rear lights as well as a handlebar cupholder for a bottle of water (our Huffy rock creek mountain bikes don't have holes for frame mounting a regular water bottle holder). We also put wider spring seats from beach cruisers for more comfort 😁
From the start she specified if you are a roadie or a mountain biker. She wasn't catering for people like me who use their bikes for commuting and utilitarian purposes as a car supplement or replacement. I have interchangeable racks, bags and baskets fitted all over my bike front and back. It's just an ordinary hybrid but practically it's like a cross between a cargo bike and a long distance tourer. And unless you need something ASAP, shop around online for bargains and alternatives. Amazon, Aliexpress and Lidl have supplied the majority of my bicycle accessories at a fraction of premium costs.
Gloves are also essential safety items. If you fall, you’ll naturally put your hand out to break your fall. If you’re not wearing gloves you can get really cut up.
Hi there nice video, I have a question about the multi tool item. You said the multi tool is good for fixing or adjusting anything on the bike. Can this multi tool have a tool to exchange bike pedals tool?
Well look at that am not gonna buy the same things but most of them I need cause am about to buy a bike 🚳 like the light locks the bag and brake lights so ye thx for the help
Good Bolt cutters can cut cables. The smallest u bolt with a cable is the best deterrent. If the u bolt is so small they can't get a saw or drill the lock because of its positioning they won't even bother.
Everything functions properly th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of TH-cam. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!

Don't forget lights for the sides, too... Helmet lights, and because we live with cars... front/back cameras...
That vocal fry... She's like a Portlandia character.
Thats a beautiful white and black helmet! What brand is it?W
pretty much every bike gadget there is. I can't believe she didn't mention a Nintendo Switch

Give serious concideration to a rear video camera. Mount it to the saddle post, flashing red light should warn SOME drivers!!
Why front wheel it's replaceable. But the back wheel is more a hassle to get off and replace. So why not put the lock chain through the back tire?

Huh, fanny pack! What, you keep it in a pack?
If they'd call it a bum bag, they'd expect it'd be for tramps!!! (That's hobos, for the Yankeedoodlers!)
