Only way to fix it is to replace the rear controller. You need to contact your dealer and try to get replacement part. If you use only rear motor and floor the throttle the rear motor would cut off.
@@Payo-TensileCreator Thanks for your reply I really appreciate 💯...it's hard to get any real information on this issue. You really have to search the internet. I really love the Scooter but this really such, I'm in Canada, where the weather is practically becoming colder and colder sooner or later we will have snow and by then I will not be able to ride the scooter in the snow so I’m trying to enjoy every little ride. I can get right now, but of course I cannot do that because it has this code on it 217. inmotion and their distributors are practically useless as there is very little help in terms of figuring out a problem you have to do your own research. Did you do the repairs yourself or someone else 🤔. Just wondering if it's difficult to do, technicians will charge a lot probably better if I work on it myself. Thanks again for your help and good luck with the Scooter 👍🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
I'm still waiting for the front controller to arrive. (3 weeks they said). Opening up the deck and remove the front controller is not difficult, but the back controller is a bit difficult to remove because the Allen key will stick to the rear swing arm. I think you can replace that yourself. I'll probably make a video when I change mine. A lot of people's having this 117/217 issue.
@@Payo-TensileCreator Yes you're actually right I've seen a few videos now... you might have to remove that bolt right in front of the footpad restand it should be easier. I'm now doing the work myself instead of my Scooter sitting in a distribution shop like I've seen some other scooters. I'm now in the process of convincing the distributor that I do need a rear controller and I also need to replace a cable actually the green power cable that’s coming from the front controller straight up the arm was pinched from the manufacturer between the deck plate and the battery and I think that this might be a part of my issue 🤔
I have this code as well 217 🤔🤷🏼♂️.. how did you fix it
