- First of a new series of videos of our break in North Wales...here is our first day, hiking up Mount Snowdon, the largest mountain in England and Wales! Not the best of weather, but a great hike anyway!

I live at top of a hill that's enough hiking for me 😂 I live in Scotland and my house is at the highest point of my town. I can see for miles from my bedroom window. Can seen the campsy hills and all around. It's beautiful.

My girlfriend and I walked up snowdon last weekend on the pyg track. Came down the miners path. A truly magical place and very unique hike. Thanks for the video. It helped us prepare. Only downside is the expensive parking!

Great trek guys....so satisfying to reach the top. We can see you doing the Everest Base Camp.....
"It's a beautiful sunny day", haha. We were scratching our heads for a bit when you said the first carpark was full but in the video we could only see half a dozen or so other folks and then BOOM, there's a queue, haha.
It must have been real cold up top, because we noticed the layers coming off and sleeves rolling up during the ascent, but then they were all back on when it was sandwich time, lol.

We did the minors track on Sunday the wind was madness but 3hrs it took was brilliant

Hmm, you had the same weather as us, when we did it last year, although we had the pleaser of high and gusting winds as well. We went up and down the Llanberris path, starting at 07.00 and to be honest, I was totally underwhelmed by it. Going back again in September, hoping for better weather and a more challenging route up this time. Good watch, cheers Alan

Have you ever done Crib Goch? It's a stunning ridge approach to the peak.

How challenging was the Miners track? Did you have to crawl or climb at any point? I'm debating between the miner's path and Llanberis Path - would rather do Miner's as it passes the lakes.

4 years later i saw your great video. do you remember how long it took you the whole track?
That's a really good question, I do remember we started around 8am and we reached to top just gone lunchtime...4-5 hours? Definitely quicker coming down!
