When speaking to Sync 3 don’t speak anything else but what she asks you..talking to the camera means she will not understand your conversation..otherwise it works really well
Grill has changed, now has daytime running lights, new bumper, new spot light housing, no 4x4 sticker on rear tub, rear tailgate lift assist....... many many more 🤦♂️
There is a new fuel filter as well. Also front sensors dont allow flared wheel arches from previous px1/2 to fit on front. Will need to wait for someone to make new ones to suit
Brett Bigwood Hi brett, just bought one with the egr flares and no problem with the sensors, they were moved onto the flares and the sensors adjusted. 👍
The 2019 wildtrak is way advanced in terms of technology and performance. It's much better than the 3.2 ito comfort, capabilities, etc. This is a very fun to drive bakkie.
They should of used the twin turbo setup on the 3.2 and upped the KW to 160. I have the 3.2 wildtrack and it responds well to exhaust and ECU re-flash.
same with every other diesel these days. which makes you wonder why they dont do them from factory in the first place. my triton got an extra 35% across the range. why not have them from factory?
Probably the worst review ever.... Didn't mention Park assist, running day lights, hid lights, didn't show the new seats, didn't mention anything about the new central locking tray..
@@allizdog5927 yeah somehow most reviewers tend to comment at some part of their reviews that it feels flat or a bit wanting. If not during overtaking like in this video then during other scenarios where real grunt is needed. I see the specs, it certainly looks good. It just doesn't seem to translate into real world performance. Same issue the Amarok had with its 2l turbo
I think it really comes down your lifestyle, if your just wanting it to just drive around town bit of highway bit of city then the 2.0 is probably best. But the 3.2 would be better for mods, tune, etc. you could only do so much on a 2.0 before it blows it’s such a small engine. I don’t know that’s just how I see it I guess.
I have a 2003 Ranger here in the States, love it still. 4L, 2W drive, it's all I need. They stopped producing them here a couple of years before I went to Australia, so it was good to see the name continuing there. But if it came time to buy a new car, I would want one of your Ford Falcon utes. They were called Rancheros here, but they stopped making them in 79", I believe. I'm more into styling than anything, but an FPV version would be nice.
I have a new Ranger supplied as a work vehicle. Why does the vehicle shake at low speeds? Lightly accelerating away from stop the vehicle noticeably shakes up until you reach about15km/hr. After that it drives nice and smooth. It is very annoying and I can't remember any other vehicle I have had that has done this? The vehicle I have has the six speed auto.
Would appreciate a thorough comparison review of the top model of each ute brand.. likes of Ford Ranger Raptor, Hilux Rugged X, Amarok V6 Ultimate and Holden Z71 Extreme ! The end result will crown the ute KING in the now highly competitive ute market.
D K... the KING is the top seller, not speed, not all the bells and whistles. VW and Holden can only dream to sell as many Hilux's. Actually, Hilux almost out sold the entire Holden range in September 2018 in Australia, just stating a fact
Thanks Mitchell for that info. I am in the market for a dual cab soon and was going to settle for the Triton. The Ranger is a good looking bit of kit so I will have investigate further. Cheers
My 2016 Wildtrack seat was replaced by ford as the plastic leather had split The entire chassis was covered in rust and dealer said you see more rust because of the high wheel arches Other makes cover there chassis in a sealant not thin paint Very disappointed ford let this truck down with rust Alan xxx
Kamil Kuszewski Wildtrak for daily, unless of you have a lot of off-roading places don’t bother with the raptor. Though speed bumps are nicer on the raptor
I was following a new Ford 4x4 along a street and noticed the rear shock absorbers hang low below the rear diff which you can see on this one, these are going to be ripped off if you take it off road.
@fukthegoog I know what i own, Nissan Navara 4x4, the shocker bolt is mounted on the plate which is level with the lower spring and does not protrude below like the Fords, have a look when you are following one.
My Ford Everest Turbo “Broke” with only 58K on the clock. It seems there is a massive problem with the ford Turbos that no one is talking about! Sold it immediately after being repaired by ford and got a Hilux. Stay away as far as possible from ford. You have been warned.
if for me the Ford Ranger has been proven, but unfortunately after I saw it, it seems that some of the all new Ford Ranger are imitating in terms of appearance, in my opinion the manufacturer seems to be lacking Inspiration ..... if we have to copy ... from the Ford Ranger to Pursue market.....
it would be good if you had some critique eg. 'too bouncey', if you bothered to give an example of by what standard you came to that, what can the consumer actually use as a standard of how the vehicle should handle rather than just some bullshit in your own mind. failure.

Ford Sync is horrible and always has been, Ford customer service is even worse. You're buying from a company that doesn't give a damn, and from a company with a host of dealers that also don't give a damn. Waste of money buying a suburb gangster mobile.

Forgot to mention all the active safety or did I just miss something?
Was this a review or were you just telling us about the updated suspension and comparing it with a FWD hatchback?

It should be higher than that.

Id have to test-drive the new 4 Cyl Wildtrack but I bet its boring compared to the 5 Cyl even if the specs show its more powerful.
They get better fuel economy but similar power with the smaller twin turbo engine than the 3.2 single turbo can provide.

Why they stop using the 3.2 5cylinder engine?? Someone explain?

I think Bi-Turbo Wild track is better in technology and power but Hilux is better in durability.
