New sub, first comment: i am a grandma gamer who has been gaming for a longgggg time lol, playing especially games like Fallout, ES, mmos like ESO, Neverwinter, WoW, etc. I have in the last few years gotten heavily into mods in Skyrim and Fallout 4 and i gotta say, your builds are amazing hon, 1st class!! Grandma is proud of you young man!❤️
@AnneNelson I am a Grandma gamer too. I play a mod Fallout 4 as well. Use to play Halo for the longest time, but then Fallout 4 came out. My Son introduced me too it when he was 18. (My oldest a daughter is the one with my first and only Granddaughter so far. LOL) I learned how to down load mods etc and how to get it just right to it doesn't ctd. LOL I played it on Xbone first. I am so happy to see another Grandma gamer on here. :)
My son got me hooked on fallout 3, once played for 78 hrs straight, back when there was a lock on the levels. I got my grandson playing fallout, now he's done them all. There's a very cheap company that does unofficial merchandise. Love and luck from a Scottish grandma ❤️🍀🏴👵🏼
I am definitely impressed, not only does the building look spot-on for the original Tenpenny Tower from Fallout 3, but the fact that you were able to actually have a functioning interior without the game crashing is a feat in and of itself: I saw someone else try to do this, but they had to do an exterior shell, then do a series of interior builds for their video because they said that trying to do a fully furnished build would make their game crash...
What you have done is amazing, the attention to detail is absolutely on point. Watching this makes me want to grind and save resources to improve my settlements. I'm still in the early days of building so that's not frustrating at all. 😂
Another great build, it makes me want to get back to my game and build again. My idea for that empty floor you asked about is a day room. That is a place where all the residence can hang out and occupy themselves with many things like a library, gaming, television, music, dancing, workout, bar, art(painting, sculpting, etc.)sports, you get the idea.
When you got to the top balcony and said you sat there for twenty minutes just gazing out over the vista, I subscribed in that moment. I played (overstatement) Fallout 4 when it first came out, liked it but had no idea how huge, clever and complex it was until I returned to it post ark survival a couple of months ago. Saying this game is underrated is so true although more and more are returning to it thanks to TH-camrs like you because they can now see the love and the dedication that has been put into it. Loved your Tenpenny Tower, sheer class, very well done.
I would love to have a Tower like this in the vanilla game, and just build what i want inside it. You did an amazing job.Defenetly deserve mode views and likes.
This is most impressive! Yes, it's different from the FO3 version, but even with modded build sets, it would be very difficult to create an exact replica. I think you did a great job capturing the flavour of the original. Well done!
Wow the view! Makes me wanna hop back on and build again! The player home is sooo cool! I'd love to see like a nuka cola room, like a collectable room that would be awesome!
@Kortgaminggg you have done an amazing job. Wow. I recognize a lot of the mods you used and some that I didn't recognize, but this is amazing. Truly love it. Grandma Gamer here as well and I love watching these creations everyone comes out with. Keep going you're doing great!
Just subbed, your builds are so impressive and detailed :) It's because of settlement building that Fallout 4 is one of my fave games and I hope you don't mind me taking a bit of inspiration from your builds to improve my settlements :)
Im so glad youre enjoying it :) Once the commonwealth has been rebuilt, i plan on doing a "my commonwealth" video. I will walk from settlement to settlement explaining and casualy talking about lore and background. I am from South Australia :)
That is gorgeous. I would have loved a view from the top panning the landscape but man that was amazing. Did you have the settlement build limit and did you use a mod to overcome it. Again - GORGEOUS!
Well I think its a fabulous take on the Tenpenny Tower from Fallout 3, love the setup and detail as always. Bravo...Thanx so much for sharing. Was the collector guys name Herbert Dashwood? Peace till next time.
Your Abernathy Tower is a fine nod to Tenpenny Tower... And yeah, most Fallout 3 by buildings were built by Tardis Inc., tiny shacks with a two story townhouse inside... No basement access, so, ghoul infestation might not be a problem...maybe... Beautiful job! 😃
This is absolutely lovely it's a perfect mix of classic & new i love it makes me want to make my own Tenpenny Tower but unfortunately i've been having a problem tho for whatever reason oddly the capital wasteland workshop menu doesn't show up on my main save but on a save before leaving the vault or new game save it does show up & so i'm sorry to ask but question when did you add the cww mod to your game & how could i fix the missing cww workshop menu without doing a new game save or going back a save if that's possible & 1 last thing atm but very lovely decoration work & gn or good day everyone
@@kortgaminggg sorry to comment or reply again but i just wanted to say good news i fixed it i just had to uninstall & reinstall & it is showing up i'm so very happy right now & gn or good day to you
Impressive and well executed build! How long did that take you? Just some nitpicks: putting the defensive turrets and water supply OUTSIDE of the walls is a massive strategic mistake, as it makes those significantly easier to destroy or sabotage. And that scaffolding is quite scaleable once the exposed turrets are offline, presenting a prime way to circumvent those otherwise solid walls.
I’ve heard people complain about even having the option for settlement building and how it’s a wasted feature that could’ve been spent improving the rest of the game. And I 100% disagree😂. It’s because of builds like this especially. Admittedly the vanilla game is fine and on consoles make it enjoyable but could be better. With mods Fallout 4 is honestly probably my favorite game ever😅. And I understand that’s just me but the vanilla game absolutely nailed in laying an amazing framework for modders to finish the job. Not just in gameplay like settlement building but also in story and characters. I just have an Xbox( bought one just to play Fallout 4 modded😄). I can afford that but I can’t justify to myself spending a lot on getting a solid PC just to play Fallout 4. Yeah I could play other stuff but it’d mostly be for Fallout 4. So as it stands my mod capacity is much more limited. Not nearly as much as when I played it on PS4😖😄. But even on Xbox I’m totally loving it. Especially just the whole idea of rebuilding the commonwealth. In other fallout games you can reshape the future of the land through the story but the modded settlement building lets you actually rebuild it. I do love the base story even though it could’ve used a bit more time in the oven. So I love mods that stay true to the vanilla story while adding and improving on it. Whether it’s new or expanded characters, more choices and quests, new features, or just reframing the story with more content like with sim settlements 2. Modded Fallout 4 is very underrated🙂 and has honestly given me some of my best experiences in the franchise and gaming as a whole. When you said you spent like twenty minutes at the top just admiring the view I felt that😅
Hye Kort, would liketo ask you, have u encounter any game crash like right after we load the game? If so, u got any idea on how to fix it? Cause I just recently faced this issue. Game crashes right after it finished loading.
This is probably due to a corrupt save or a conflict in mods. I would thoroughly analyse your mod list first, too identify any mods which you think may conflict, Secondly i strongly strongly strongly reccomend backing up your saves after every play session, especially if you do long playthroughs. This can be done by finding your fallout 4 saves folder, finding the save in which you want to backup, then copy and paste that save in an easily accesible "backup" save folder. Keep at least 3-5 saves in the folder and then when you add more delete the oldest. Then when a problem occurs you can go back to a point in which its working. I hope this helps :)
@@kortgaminggg I will try and do that, previously, it only crashes after 1 or 2 hours of playtime, in which after that, I keep quicksaving so that I don't lose my progress, today, its the first time where, after I select the load game, it loads, and I'm in the game for a split second, and it crashes... such a bummer. I'm uninstalling mods by mods according from the latest to the oldest now. still no luck. Thanks for your respond.
It could also just be a bugged area in your game, i had this happen at bunker hill after i over built there. After reverting back a few saves it fixed this issue. I would be careful uninstalling too many mods as this can cause issues, although if you backup a save then you can always reinstall the mods and go back in on a back up. Good luck :)
I know this is a recreation, but i wouldn't be able to resist top floor being player home made with window walls to enjoy the view every time i was in there.
Using Jugs curve building method, at this location I made a secret base inside a mountain monument at a national park. I use mods with the PS5. I don't think the 4 could have handled the build.
From the thumbnail it looked like Fallout 3. That tower ... I forgot the name. It is where you encounter super natural stuff leading back to the Krivbeknih. Okay I read the title and it sure is the Tenpenny Tower haha. I never played FO3 myself, so forgive me x)

That would require so much concrete! I'd take months to build it. Though as a rule I limit my builds to six stories. So far none have come out that good. Abernathy has so much room it's fun to build on. I can sort of do Shady Sands but that's a simpler build.
