I am loving my A7iii. I find it way more enjoyable to use. You do need to spend some time setting all the custom settings to your needs as it makes a bug difference when you go to use this very complex bit of kit. Plenty of good guides on TH-cam. Enjoy!

Yes so good. Hard to upgrade since it basically does everything well. I don’t think I got most of a camera for so long and got my money’s worth then this camera
I bought A7III year ago and I don’t regret at all. This video make my feel even better :) from car shots to whisky pictures this body is the best for me.
@@srinivassridhar5151 both are fantastic but a7iii if you need better low light performance. Xt4 if you want great out of camera colors and good hand held stabilization
I’ve been rocking with the A7iii for about a year now. I just finished a professional shoot this past weekend with a Tamron 70-180. Camera performed excellently; this is my workhorse now. I upgraded from a Pentax system and haven’t looked back. I still love my Pentax gear; it will be used for non professional shooting. I’m still learning the features of my Sony and video is my next conquest.
Been looking to upgrade to an a7iii from my canon 200d for about a year now. This video has confirmed my decision and I think ill definitely be buying one in the near future! an 85 1.8 would be my ideal lens for street photography so that would be perfect! I just got the a7 III and love this camera! It's not the latest and greatest but definitely still an awesome camera
I have been a Sony user for many years. When I saw a great price on the 7iii, I bought it. Then I added a 16-35/4 and a 24/105/4; both "G:. I mostly shoot portraits, landscapes, and nudes. I have had this setup for about two- years and I looks like it is a keeper. Very informative video!
Love my a7iii. I still have it! Served me well for years. Great pictures quality and awesome video. I started shootings more wildlife so I upgraded to the a9ii and the a 7r4 but I still use my a a7iii. Great review!

I've had the SonyA7iii for approx 2 yrs and have absolutely loved it. Still in the process of aquiring more native lenses but the sigma MC-11 works for me for the time being.
Still my All day cameras, adapting not only Sony A mount lenses but also E mount Canon L lenses and occasionally Nikon F mount lenses. A dream camera for every one.
I own this camera and I like it. Purchased it for video but read a lot about its photography capabilities and that has made me a more avid photographer. This was a great buy for me!

Hey there! Thank you for your video? I end that with a question mark because I just spent a bunch of money after watching this clip. For two weeks I have been consuming all forms of media about the a7iii and the a7riii. Numerous times I had the riii in my cart.....but I kept removing it. This video pushed me over the edge to getting the a7iii. I am upgrading from the a6300 to this for the full-frame. I am so excited.
I’m looking to start converting to the A7iii from the Canon 5D Mark IV and this video was very informative! I do narrative shoots and music videos so I’m really hoping to step up my game in 2021 with this camera :)

First off I would like to say thank you for consistently making great informative Sony videos, I can’t stress enough how much they have helped me in deciding with my purchases. I’ve had the A7iii for about a year and have been mainly using a 35 f1.4 which has been really all I need for my style. I’m now getting into the video side of this camera and purchased the Tamron 17-28 for my recent trip. An 85mm would really be exciting to use and would complete my focal range! The A7iii is definitely the best hybrid camera for anyone who is starting into photography/videography or a someone who’s already a seasoned photography veteran.
THIS camera changed my life ,Stefan . Was into photography for years but never really tried it . Had a Canon 1200D with stock lens , 3-4 years ago and I didn't really had time to learn it so I sold it 3 months later . Now ... I recently started photography (January 2020) , ended/sold my business in 2019 october and was wondering what should I do . Then I remembered I always wanted to try Photography and never had time for it . Since it was November ,I knew Black Friday Sales would come and I took a look on a local website. 30 mins later ,bought a 55mm Zeis with an A73. Yes , it may sound foolish but sometimes in life , you have to start doing what you love rather then doing something you don't feel fulfilled just because you have to. I don't know If I explained it right but I think you understand what I'm trying to say . Since then , I followed some courses , invested into some lights and started my own Studio (A small one , good for beginners) . Well. Long story short. THIS camera changed my life.
I was all into my Sony APSC cameras and didn't think going full frame was that big of a deal. Watching channels like yours made me think twice and I found a great deal on an A7iii. Unbelievable camera !! Love everything about it. Your channel is great.
I ordered this camera yesterday. Was on here making sure I made the right choice. Thanks for the video making my hard earned money decision feel better. I had not researched this camera and actually had gone in to buy a different camera. Now I do need to research lenses and you seem like a great place to start.
I bought it two months after it was released. I was coming from the EOS system, all the way back to film. I bought it mainly because its size and weight. The second and perhaps most important reason was I could use my rangefinder lenses, with adaptors. All of them tiny pieces of glass: Soviet era, German and Japanese glass. Take my light Summicron 50 f2 against my beloved but heavy Canon 50 f1.2. I can carry the Sony, its adapter, the lens and it is so damn light. The only drawback is the damn menu, so I encourage anybody to find some youtubers sharing their best settings for the camera. Excellent video!
At a dinner with some friends who were showing us their pictures from Peru, my wife said to me "You really need a new camera." I immediately started working on my phone at the dinner table. "What are you doing?" "Buying a camera." Got to strike while the wife says okay. a6500. Recently made a commitment to start shooting indoor volleyball (son). COVID forced us to shoot from OUTSIDE the gym! Used that excuse to by some f2.8 sony zooms. I'm in heavy now. Enjoying the immersion immensely. Thanks for the really helpful reviews.
I just made my first commercial to car company with this camera. It's great for everything and remember that you can upgrade camera and still use your great e-mount lenses.
I keep debating about buying the Sony A7III. The only thing that keeps me from buying it is the 8-bit video. I might just wait for the Sony A7IV. I hope Sony decided to put 10-bit in that one. Great video, Stefan!

For some reason, even last black friday, ciber monday or boxing day, price still the same... still a great great camera! And main reason i guess is an average computer handles good. Here is an imac mid11. Doing fine. Keep up making good vids man... Oh and i would love that viltrox of corse! 😁
I have had my A7iii for two years now and I also have an A7Riv, to be honest, I prefer the A7iii for flexibility, yes the A7Riv is amazing, but as you say file size is an issue, and also the noise levels are far higher at the pixel level. I have settled with using the A7iii for all my general photography, portraits, family, holidays, video etc, I use the A7Riv for my landscape and architecture photography where I am being more creative. After watching this post Stefan, I bit the bullet and bought the A7III body and I'm taking my time choosing a couple of mid-price lenses for it. I've been quite happy with my RX10-IV which has been a stunning travel camera, but I wanted a full frame for more serious attempt at portrait work and macro. I'm also gonna look at something for bird photography. Anyway, thanks for your enthusiastic review of the A7III. Looking forward to new experiences. Tom (UK).
It is an amazing camera but actually just sold mine and switched to the A6400 instead. :) More so to get weight down a bit in lenses, etc when hiking in the mountains. But so far a few things about it I think is actually better.
I’m a student and still learning photography and researching for which camera to buy if I were to fully commit myself in the field and I came across this great video And winning the lens would be benefitial for me to help me pursuing in this field cheers Good luck to everyone !!
Literally bought this camera today and I'm selling my 5D Mark III and GH5, sure the Gh5 does more video wise and the 5D Mark III is a tank but I want something that does well inbetween without taking tonnes of gear. I'll build my sony lens collection and get a 4k 120 fps camera when I need it (and more importantly can afford it). Thanks Stefan! Great video
The A7iii has been the best purchase I made, It has brought in 10s of thousands of income to my business in 2020. I'm definitely buying an A7iv when it comes out and keeping my A7ii as my backup. I though about an A7Riv but i'm not ready to replace my iMac yet!

As an amateur photographer that has been seriously considering switching to my first full frame camera (a7iii/a7c) I'm glad I got this video in my recommended a few minutes ago as it answers allot of questions for me on whether or not I should get an a7iii/a7c in the very near future. I'm currently on micro four thirds but in the process of selling off my camera and lenses. Also hopefully with the a7iv right around the corner the a7iii prices drop slightly ;).

I currently own a Sony a7III and I love it. It`s a beast as you said and I would love to start doing videography with it as well. Currently I use an adapter Canon 85 1.8 with the Sigma MC-11 on my Sony a7III and it does the job, but not quite exactly how I want it. I`ve been checking your Viltrox 85 1.8 for Sony and I was impressed when I saw that it can go up to 1.6. Thx for the tip! Ever since, I`ve been thinking of buying it, but currently with the Covid19, it`s harder and harder to have any events so I`m limited to using what I have. I just bought the Sony A7III last week, Not had a chance to go out much thanks to work and my area's lockdown rules but the difference from my Nikon D3500 to the A7III is just staggering and it kinda makes me want to go out more with my camera! And that Viltrox would be lovely, after just getting the camera money is tight :')

I had some issues with the card reader of my A7iii. Just sent my camera for repair under warranty to Digicam. Both, Sony and Digicam Australia were extremely helpful. I think that the Sony A7iii is great value for the money for the market it caters for.
I’m buying this Sony a seven mark three I’ve left Nicon because the stabilisation and the view finder is much better and brighter I need all round Camera like you said so thank you for the video and best of luck for the future making anymore
My Sony A 7111 and their 70-200 f 4 give fantastic, amazing results. The same can be said when using it with the Sony 200-600. Obviously I'm well satisfied,

Awesome camera! This camera brought my photography hobby to the next level. The quality of my photos is so much better with the a7iii. I have heard it said time and time again that the photographer is what “makes” the picture. While this is true, exceptional equipment certainly doesn’t hurt.
Well I've been using it for youtube videos quite a while now and I still absolutely love the results. Won't switch until I need to. Incredible value :)
I also switched from nikon to. Sony a7 iii and I am very happy. I have a 28 75 f2.8 tamron sonar that amazes me every day. I'm going to raise more money to buy a new portrait lens.
i've been shooting with a6000 little under 5 years and 150k shots now. from -25 celsius to bar crawls. finally its getting little wonky and i think i need to upgrade. thanks for macro and other tips dude.
Have been using the A7III since it came out, and find it perfect for event photography and shooting plays for theaters. Can't wait until they open up again; the A7 III is extraordinary bin restricted light with Sony's 135 f 1.8 lens.
I'm planning on upgrading/switching to sony, Viltrox 85 1.8 will be helpful to be one of my 1st lens in my bag. It will be really helpful for shooting events/portraits.

Bought one 3 weeks back. I found a real ‘enjoyment upgrade’ from my a6400. Spent a few hours and videos learning it. Absolutely love it.

After almost 3 years, I still love my A7III. It has never let me down.

Have you ever used the a7R4 in APS-C mode to get for instans 600 mm from the 100-400, or is it better to crop in post?

A7iii 4life . Best camera ever. Love it with my tamron 28-75mm 2.8 . Pretty accurate and sharp. The 6k downscale to 4K is so clear. Thanks nice video
2 years with it so far and recently got a G master 16-35mm lens and it made love it even more now! Is a beast for video and pictures!!

At a dinner with some friends who were showing us their pictures from Peru, my wife said to me "You really need a new camera." I immediately started working on my phone at the dinner table. "What are you doing?" "Buying a camera." Got to strike while the wife says okay. a6500. Recently made a commitment to start shooting indoor volleyball (son). COVID forced us to shoot from OUTSIDE the gym! Used that excuse to by some f2.8 sony zooms. I'm in heavy now. Enjoying the immersion immensely. Thanks for the really helpful reviews.
Been on a7iii for just under 6 months and it is amazing camera. I am glad I went full frame.
I just made my first commercial to car company with this camera. It's great for everything and remember that you can upgrade camera and still use your great e-mount lenses.
I keep debating about buying the Sony A7III. The only thing that keeps me from buying it is the 8-bit video. I might just wait for the Sony A7IV. I hope Sony decided to put 10-bit in that one. Great video, Stefan!

For some reason, even last black friday, ciber monday or boxing day, price still the same... still a great great camera! And main reason i guess is an average computer handles good. Here is an imac mid11. Doing fine. Keep up making good vids man...

Bought the A7iii as my first camera a few months back, I’m very picky with my purchases but I have never regretted buying this camera
I have had my A7iii for two years now and I also have an A7Riv, to be honest, I prefer the A7iii for flexibility, yes the A7Riv is amazing, but as you say file size is an issue, and also the noise levels are far higher at the pixel level. I have settled with using the A7iii for all my general photography, portraits, family, holidays, video etc, I use the A7Riv for my landscape and architecture photography where I am being more creative. I have added the 70-200f4 and the 90mm macro to my bag and have been very happy with the results.
Winter in Canada is harsh so the camera will serve me well.

Great update / review. I've got both an A7iii and the a7Riii - both got their own use cases and I love them both!
After watching this post Stefan, I bit the bullet and bought the A7III body and I'm taking my time choosing a couple of mid-price lenses for it. I've been quite happy with my RX10-IV which has been a stunning travel camera, but I wanted a full frame for more serious attempt at portrait work and macro. I'm also gonna look at something for bird photography.

I bought my a7iii on black friday and i love it so much. At the moment i use the tamron 28-75 and the sony 70-200 f4 und now i need a prime lens
It is an amazing camera but actually just sold mine and switched to the A6400 instead. :) More so to get weight down a bit in lenses, etc when hiking in the mountains. But so far a few things about it I think is actually better.
I’m a student and still learning photography and researching for which camera to buy if I were to fully commit myself in the field and I came across this great video
And winning the lens would be benefitial for me to help me pursuing in this field cheers

A great honors review on the Sony a 7 iii!
Literally bought this camera today and I'm selling my 5D Mark III and GH5, sure the Gh5 does more video wise and the 5D Mark III is a tank but I want something that does well inbetween without taking tonnes of gear. I'll build my sony lens collection and get a 4k 120 fps camera when I need it (and more importantly can afford it). Thanks Stefan! Great video
The A7iii has been the best purchase I made, It has brought in 10s of thousands of income to my business in 2020. I'm definitely buying an A7iv when it comes out and keeping my A7ii as my backup. I though about an A7Riv but i'm not ready to replace my iMac yet!

I switched from the Canon system to A7iii and I do not regret it. A7iii rocks!
As an amateur photographer that has been seriously considering switching to my first full frame camera (a7iii/a7c) I'm glad I got this video in my recommended a few minutes ago as it answers allot of questions for me on whether or not I should get an a7iii/a7c in the very near future. I'm currently on micro four thirds but in the process of selling off my camera and lenses. Also hopefully with the a7iv right around the corner the a7iii prices drop slightly ;).

I love your videos, very informative and whenever I`m looking to make a decision related to photography gear, your channel is one of the first I`m checking. I currently own a Sony a7III and I love it. It`s a beast as you said and I would love to start doing videography with it as well. Currently I use an adapter Canon 85 1.8 with the Sigma MC-11 on my Sony a7III and it does the job, but not quite exactly how I want it. I`ve been checking your Viltrox 85 1.8 for Sony and I was impressed when I saw that it can go up to 1.6. Thx for the tip! Ever since, I`ve been thinking of buying it, but currently with the Covid19, it`s harder and harder to have any events so I`m limited to using what I have. That being said, I`d love to win the Viltrox 85 1.8 from you , but also I wish good luck to every one participating!

I just bought the Sony A7III last week, Not had a chance to go out much thanks to work and my area's lockdown rules but the difference from my Nikon D3500 to the A7III is just staggering and it kinda makes me want to go out more with my camera! And that Viltrox would be lovely, after just getting the camera money is tight :')
I am a crop sensor photographer(I hope so) for 2 years now and doing kids birthday parties with my a6000 and flash. this year I am more serious about my career as a photographer and definitely buy the most favorite a73! so I may need a portrait lens ;) anyway Congratulations in advance for the winner! :D

I had some issues with the card reader of my A7iii. Just sent my camera for repair under warranty to Digicam. Both, Sony and Digicam Australia were extremely helpful.
I think that the Sony A7iii is great value for the money for the market it caters for.
I’m buying this Sony a seven mark three I’ve left Nicon because the stabilisation and the view finder is much better and brighter I need all round Camera like you said so thank you for the video and best of luck for the future making anymore

i got a7c which suited me perfectly. added 28-200 f2.8-5.6 and perfect travel gear along with smallish 35mm samyang 2.8 autofocus lens
My Sony A 7111 and their 70-200 f 4 give fantastic, amazing results. The same can be said when using it with the Sony 200-600. Obviously I'm well satisfied,

Awesome camera! This camera brought my photography hobby to the next level. The quality of my photos is so much better with the a7iii. I have heard it said time and time again that the photographer is what “makes” the picture. While this is true, exceptional equipment certainly doesn’t hurt.
Well I've been using it for youtube videos quite a while now and I still absolutely love the results. Won't switch until I need to. Incredible value :)
I also switched from nikon to. Sony a7 iii and I am very happy. I have a 28 75 f2.8 tamron sonar that amazes me every day. I'm going to raise more money to buy a new portrait lens.
i've been shooting with a6000 little under 5 years and 150k shots now. from -25 celsius to bar crawls. finally its getting little wonky and i think i need to upgrade. thanks for macro and other tips dude.

Have been using the A7III since it came out, and find it perfect for event photography and shooting plays for theaters. Can't wait until they open up again; the A7 III is extraordinary bin restricted light with Sony's 135 f 1.8 lens.
