Did the same swap in my two Brumbys/BRATs after the EA81s both died, 110% recommend the swap. A bloke here in Australia was a life save goes By SUBARINO his name is Dave and specialises in these old girls!
This project is super refreshing. It's not all gonzo like so many trying to get clicks. It's just... clean. Realistic and fun! Nails the retro vibes 110% with ease, but looks like it will drive like a smiling dream on wheels. The kind of woman that likes that kinda project, drives that car... not sure if I'm jealous or in love, but it's a strong feeling!
Thank You, Bucky!!! For always teaching your daughter(s) that you don't have to be a guy, to get down and dirty when it comes to working on your vehicle. I'm sure she's proud of you and proud of herself, with the work each step of the way.. The Brat(The car, not Paris lol) is coming along just Fine!!!!! Even with mishaps!! PS: Those seats are yummy!!!! She said it, "BUCK YEAH!!"
Damn those Recaros look so good 👍, I think the Recaro LSC (fishnets) would have looked 🔥🔥 . Awesome father daughter build , congrats your a lucky girl Paris!!
I always walk away from these brat vids feeling good. As a father with a daughter in her 20's I can totally relate to these vibes. You 2 are an inspiration!🤙🏻
I'm obsessed with those sits soon I've seen them my car costs the same as one seat 🤭 same lol 😆 Love that you got them for the Brat and for Paris , you're a grad Dad man 👍 Glad to see the project improving to this level , Buck yeah !!!
Good to see you sharing a passion with one of your kiddos. Said it before and continue too preach, you are a goat and deserve all the flowers and more. From board room to show room, great build.🤘🔥😎🔥🤘
If it's not enough power, I believe the guys at throtl have a spare Viper engine haha. That's awesome that you still have your truck, I hope you keep it forever. Can't wait to see Paris behind the wheel!
This build makes me cry every time I tune in. R.I.P. Dad. Travis has the Family Huckster, but you guys have the Family Bratser!!! Or the 22B.R.A.T I think with the right Box flares that platform could be the next star of a Winter-Khana sort of video series!. (Ill hang out in the back Rumble seat in Snow Board gear LOL) Your good friends with VSC right? HOT video brother!!!
Lucky catch on the engine mount bracket. // Those engine hoist casters are screaming for grease. You'd be amazed at how much easier carting an engine around on one with smooth casters is, Buck. // Sharp headliner and nice carpeting. // You two are nailin' it doubletime! // Wow, fun fire! // Congrats on a helluva job, y'all.
Buck time and time again you surround yourself with some of the brightest people: Mickey at Throttle, Tony Hawk etc. Subie community is hella tight and supportive ✌️✌️
Love watching you two work. Such fun. Since you're doubling the horsepower, you really need to get rid of those drums. The rear disks from any Gen 3 turbo car will bolt straight on, and significantly help the stopping power.
I Felt the emotion in this episode between father and dougther, but when I-wire comes to the party bringing their help that was a blow minded..!! INSANE EPISODE GUYS!!
This is such an inspirational father-daughter bond. The lap around the building was a killer way to end the episode. Your truly blessed to have family and PALS.
Was awesome to see this and the other two cars at Subiefest! Didnt get a chance to chat with you about the cars, but was able to nab a hat and sign! Great meeting you man! Hope to see you at the next one!
Always a good time when Buckyeah uploads. Those seats are ridiculously good looking. Love your attention to detail and dedication. Paris is a vary luck gal.
Brother awesome man you two rock I would love to see your face when your daughter came in and told you about the fire though that would have been a scary experience
This is the most underrated channel and build on the internet how are you only at 57k subs bucky love the videos. I guess im old ive been a fan since your xgames days
@@BuckyLasekOfficial I hope your channel blows up soon I would love to see what you would do with a 90s legacy or and svx, or what ever you decide to build next im here for it sir. Thank you for the content
Hello from Tasmania Australia. Love your videos man, I hope to do the same with my 2 daughter's when they get older. I own a 1991 subaru brumby (brat) and a 2016 subaru wrx sti.
iWire? More like, Bri-wire, amiright?! Also, holy shit! That fire had my heart racing. I can't imagine how you all felt! Wild moment! Nice work and video!
So cool to see you and your kid hangin out and having fun. I have a 7 year old daughter and i would love to do something like this with her if she’s interested in cars.
Take the brat seat rails and bolt them to the brz seats. That’s how BRZ seats go in. I have a set in mine. Awesomely comfortable for me at 5’8 but apparently if you’re a taller person not so much.
Hahaha Bucky bro I thought when Paris went inside to yell for you that you were taking a shit and you were gonna fly out the door with your pants around your ankles hahahaha damnit!!!!
@2:34 Bucky! You beat me at Bullring in THPS1+2 last week! Haha! I was finishing up my last few challenges and I was getting pissed because I needed gold and you kept sneaking by me.
Came here via Larry’s channel. Quite Imprezive Sub bro! .. And thís is just the level of beautiful bonding through such a great father/daughter project, any parent would/should/could embrace.. Great content too.. Mad respect for your effort & letting us enjoy your’ ride man! She is a great spirit aswel, Well done sir🤙🏼💎 Keep ‘em coming’! You’ve got +1 sub here✌🏻
Out of curiousity why the ej22 (sohc) instead of the ej251 (sohc)? i believe it has the Same space essentially, but more power (ej251 30hp+). My guess is just happenstance? (aka available @ the time) WOW @ the fire scare! Ive heard about that happening when welding on vehicles specifically the sound deadening & panel bond goop. Im Glad you guys got it saved with minimal damage! im sure that was stressful! Great work as usual to the both of you!
I was wondering where I could buy tires like that for my crosstrek. I have a 23 and am in the process of ordering the rallitek suspension kit for a 2 inch lift and those tires I think would be better for my application than the at3's I was thinking on getting.
How did you get the clips for under the chrome trim in the tailgate? Also looking for a drivers side taillight for my 83 if you know anywhere to find one it would be so rad! Somebody took a hammer to mine. Thank you for your videos. You are Paris have inspired me to fix up my Dad’s 83 DL
Bucky is suportive to his daughter Good job even though she is legal age That attitude is rare in most american tradition Mostly they kick their son or dailughter when legal age But bucky is not, congrats cause bucky is good father
Hi guys. I've been really enjoying the build, something I've been meaning to do with my Brumby here in Australia. I'm interested to know what the wheel arch you used. In the video you said ABW but a can't find them anywhere. What car are they from? Hope you can shed some light. SICK Colour scheme by the way. Looks fantastic.

100% agree! Absolutely great content! It's fun seeing a happy loving family getting along and enjoying some quality jdm goodness!
The Brat project is so sick! Got child hood flashbacks when those Ford doors locked😅
Of all the videos you've posted this was beyond the best...because it was with your daughter

We’re on the look for a rear disc set up but need to take a breather and get back on it later.
