That Nagelsmann lost the locker room seems to be an excuse being put into the world by Salihamidzic, to defend that ridiculous sacking. When you see the comments of the players and how shocked most of them were, it seems quite obvious that he didn't lose the locker room.
as a bayern fan its disgusting how naglsmann was disrespected by the board, considering the fact he was doing pretty well without a good striker upfront and was in the cup and ucl, only to sack him and bring tuchel for him to get us out of the ucl and cup in a space of 2 weeks and nearly cost us the league if dortmund didn't choke on the final match day it's sickening how the board has not treated our managers and players great over the past couple of years Lewandowski incident where they tried to get haaland when lewas contract was about to end, and when haaland rejected thats when they tried to extend his contract the hansi flick incident, a manager that won us every trophy in a season they couldn't give him a higher transfer budget increase to continue on competing the naglsemann situation ofc. sacked because "the treble being in danger" and bring in tuchel who in a space of 2 weeks to fully gets us out of both cup compeition the kroos situation arguably our best talent at the time and they got rid of him because they didn't see him good enough to earn the same wages as mario gotze only thing thats good that came out of this season is a wake up call for the board and the fans who were ignorant for this past season and not see how terrible our season was. and to any Leverkusen fan that might read this, congratulations. you honestly deserve that nothing but the upmost of respect for your fans, club and manager. 119 years of waiting has finally ended and i'm glad out of all the clubs that had the chance to dethrone us its leverkusen

Hey Athletic Interest im a big fan of your videos but I think there’s an easy way for you to reach a bigger audience and have even more success: your video titles. Often I find them slightly misleading and not directly related to the video. Like for this one I think it would’ve been a lot more effective and impactful to have “How Xabi Alonso put an end to Bayern’s domination” or “Why Xabi Alonso is the most wanted man in football” . In any case thanks for the videos, you’re doing a great job 🎉🎉
Like shown at 2:07, what I love about Xabi Alonso is that his managerial style comes from the many legendary managers he has played for. Rafael Benitez for Liverpool, Jose Mourinho for Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola for Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti for both Real Madrid and. Bayern Munich, and Vicente del Bosque for Spain
Love seeing some of my favorite players becoming successful coaches. Zidane, Alonso, and Arteta. I hope Xavi can bounce back, not to mention Gerard and Lampard lol. I know the last two are a bit of a meme right now, but they are young and have time to get better if they are serious about it.
Congratulations, Xabi Alonso, on your Bundesliga triumph! Your skill, leadership, and dedication have truly shone through, inspiring fans worldwide. Here's to your continued success and the legacy you've built in the world of football. Well done!
My favourite thing about Alonso is the grace he shows when things go wrong. After watching his team eliminated from Europe last season in the semi-final, the first thing he did was to embrace his opposite number, Mourinho.
Great video. Xabi Alonso knew how to speak English before he went to Liverpool. He lived in Meath, Ireland for a year as a foreign exchange student when he was a teenager. He even played Gaelic football for the secondary school where he studied at.
Starting from the bottom, trusting his staff and his players, not rushing things, yeah he reminds me of Sir Alex. Hopefully as successful as Sir Alex in the future too
Xabi Alonso shouldn't leave Bayer Leverkusen. He could be a legend in there and his run as its manager could effect all of the European football. He can be successful in some other clubs, but he would have little effect on European football on these clubs.
Just saying that Alonso picks intelligent players and gives them freedom on the pitch doesn't cut it. It takes superior strategic insight to set up the framework within which the players can make their decisions.
What i found most impressive about them is how they don't rely on 1 star player. They won Bundesliga with their top scorer only being 7th on the list, 21(!) goals behind FCB's Harry Kane. They just scream "Teamwork" to me
@@akunwanneprosper7016 I really hope so. But from what I've heard they seem to all stay in the team, Trainer included. If it was BvB, most of the good players would've been sold off to make a quick profit.
This is why Xavi (not Alonso) failed at Barcelona. He just coached some Saudi club for 2 seasons and got parachuted into one of the biggest clubs in the world. He should have coached Barcelona B, then assist a big coach for some years and then have a try at it, eventually passing through a smaller Liga team beforehand.
