Wonderful boat, I love this golden monster. Hey Mr. Frank K, this is the most spectacular boat of all time. You have done a super job, wish you much success with it
I have had the pleasure of see both thunder child 1 and 2 oh they are both world class looks and performance but what really is the mind blower is the almost indestructible nature of the boat. You put it through some pretty good test in some pretty rough seas and she took all you could give her man thats a great design also. She's plain ole exotic sexy. Extremely nice boat and man she's tough. Thanks for sharing your trips
Epic boat, that view at 2:30 when she 'thunders' past is beautiful and brutal. Take her to Miami and run her through Haulover a few times, would love to see how she handles those conditions alongside the big American CCs :-)
I go to Haulover alot and LOVE watching them go out. Especially the smaller vessels and SeaDoos.. Bring some food and drinks and it's like going to an action movie. Total entertaining.
Hope they take the boat to find some gigantic rogue waves in the ocean. Maybe they could pilot the boat via Starlink and test the boats ultimate strength in 50m rogue waves.
Haulover? That’s funny. Check out their other videos going through 25’ tall breaking waves. This boat is on a whole other level. They even flip it over on purpose and it self rights.
I'm with you there. One of these with a luxury spec for the Florida Poker runs is the Lotto dream. All those little boats scared of a wave whilst I blast through them in a Thunderchild. Heaven.
@@stevefitchett6193 I grew up a sailor on Lake Erie. My father would come home from work, look out at a squall line on the horizon and say, "Let's go out and battle the elements." With this thing I could battle anything.
Seems there are not so many intrepid and daring guys / girls these days, or is it just mainstream media not focusing on mans great adventures? Takes some balls to build and skipper a boat like that, not to mention putting your reputation to it. Congratulations.
Once again an awesome video. Could I ask that you do an interior walk through for one of your next vids please? I'd love to see what she looks like inside.
@@gaycha6589 I meant in the right hands it can withstand heavier weather. It has been designed for military, police, pilot, SAR and possibly recreation

Norway hasn`t had a real winter in years and record temperatures are being set all the time, 2009 was the hottest august in 40 years, 2015 was the hottest august in 50 years, 2019 we had about 3 straight months of 30C+ (90f or something like that) and that`s just not normal, not for NORWAY.. It`s supposed to be cold here, and maybe we get 30C a few weeks, but no more, the days of torturous summers are upon us, so pretty soon I`m gonna need a boat of my own to get up to the arctic so I don`t get cooked alive :p Unless the gulfstream shifts and we get an ice age instead, but that would suit me just fine, I`m Norwegian ;)
I like to see cgi battle with the tripods, if you pop across to Anglesey to do it I'd be happy to drop you a fiver for fuel,. Loved your vids for years, especially the ones with banging nineties dance tracks 👍
Did I hear you say it was using 100 lit of fuel an hour? That sounds very good to me as I used to have a tractor that used 90 litres an hour and was only 380hp!!!
What I would love is a semi-modernized Elco PT boat. From the waterline up I'd want it to _look_ the same, BUT, give it a stepped hull with exhaust aeration. 4x twin turbo V12LS engines (>1500HP each) driving ducted screws and carbon-composite hull construction.
@@michiganengineer8621 Sounds like a plan! My parents used to belong to the Harlem Yacht Club on City Island New York back in the 1970's. One member owned a Elco 50' or so with a center pilot house called the DREAM. It was a truly wonderful yacht to ride on.
@@1TomTom They had one in the marina at Great Lakes when I was going through my class"A" school there. Although I _think_ that one was a Higgens PT boat. I just like the lines of the Elco a little bit better than the Higgens.
I just love the way she flys the forward hull and rides on the rear sponsons. Magnificent boat all round.
That was an awesome sight watching all those little private boats making chase. Inspiring for sure.
The Thunder Child is such a beauty, it kills me.
So cool to see many boats coming out to support and injoying Thunder ⛈ child!! 🚤 Well done 2:31 🥇🏆
Amazing boat Frank and the rest of Safehaven Marine! I want one.
Congratulations Frank and team. Amazing video and really a walk in the park for Thunderchild 2 !!

Haha, got quite a crack out of that drone recovery solution while traveling at speed. Great run, beautiful vessel.
Wouawww...I love it ! Je me sentirais vraiment en sécurité dans cette embarcation !
Thank you for this video ! 😮😎

Saw it going past Galley Head, what a soundtrack!
What a BEASTLY piece of machinery!

Sounds like an MTB or PT boat ! My dad did some multi-step designs before WWII.
Just a stunning boat, 👍

Just check out Thunderchild II Storm Brendan video. Makes the roughest waves at Haulover look like a kiddies pool.
Easily!
Seeing all the boats at THE FASNET makes you feel Proud to be a CORKMAN
