As a mature woman who has seen it all and done it all, but with the sense of humor of a 14 year old teenage boy,I am absolutely loving this band! Thanks, Justin😻👍💋
F***ing Awesome!!!🔥🔥🔥Sometimes I have the urge to listen to powerful songs like this one to release all the bad energy I had to endure during the week. Perfect timing, Justin! Now I'll play on loop some of their stuff like I did with Idles. I found that this is one of my favourite music genres (from now on I'll name it as your description: power💪, fury😤 and evil chord choices👹🎸). Thanks a lot for enlighten us with all your musical knowledge!!!❤️
Thank you so much Justin for bringing this absolutely great band to my attention. And yeah girls, rage on. I'm so over a lot of stuff and I scream right beside you
It’s nice when a band I saw in Brighton about 3/4 years ago is getting big. They were amazing live back then and I can only imagine they’re the same if not better now
In my younger days as a corporate drone, one of the large Wanky-corps I worked for had this HR 'bonding' thing every year where they'd ask us to submit a favourite track for a company wide playlist, so we could all get to know each other better. This would've been perfect! 😂
Another great, and kind of little known, new punk band is Smalltown Tigers. And on a related side note, I saw Amyl and the Sniffers at the Roundhouse in Camden yesterday and they were absolutely incredible. One of the best, most energetic gigs I have ever been to. Left the gig feeling so incredibly happy to be alive - what more could you want from live music!
You always turn us on to great new bands! These girls ROCK! I think some thanks need to go out to Jenny as well. I have experience everything they speak about in this song. Wish I would've had the balls to speak up in my day...well I did when I got older and then GOT FIRED! Imagine that! #GIRLPOWER
Can't wait to check out this band. As a female musician, I definitely experienced being patronized by "real men". My very first live performance had a patronizing douchebag connected to it. I was a 17yr old working in the kitchen of a very popular bar - and it was many years ago when it was very rare to see female lead guitarists in rock. I got to know the guys in the house band pretty well and became good friends with the drummer. One night, I had my new electric guitar locked away in the basement of the bar because I'd just picked it up and didn't have time to take it home. One of the bartenders asked if he could try it and he played some real basic shit on it and asked if i wanted him to show me how to tune it or how to play some stuff. I told him to EFF off. My drummer friend convinced his bandmates to let me on stage to play lead on Zeppelin's Rock & Roll and Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion - and aced them both. It was so cool to have most of the crowd basically mob me when I got off the stage. But, that bartender wouldn't even look me in the eye for weeks. He wanted to show me basic chords and I ended up showing him how to be a ROCK STAR! lol That kind of thing happened a lot and the guys doing it usually stopped talking to me once I put them in their place with my playing.
I found some new (to me) bands with a crunchy, rocking sound: a guy named Ayron Jones, albums “Child of the State,” and “Chronicles of the Kid”. Also an English band called Scruffy Bear, songs “Selfish Dreamer” & “Blackmoss”.
Lambrini Girls are great. Not anything particularly new or unique but their energy is infectious and very enjoyable listen! They are my favourite of this new era of all girl punk bands, along with Witch Fever (who are a little darker and grungier). You should check them out too!
Interesting punk rock band! And I'm always up for hearing anything about feminism. Girls, tell us how bad things really are out there! Keep enlightening us! 👍🏻
Hotwax...need to check them out Justin ,the bassist Lola is special ...and from the USA check out Speed Of Light 'teeth' brilliant band and very very young
Random weirdness: You're back to back with a reaction to "thing called love" in my subscriptions feed (black pegasus and krizz kalico) You both uploaded you at the same time. It's like an astral menage a trois. I'm a big fan of that Em9, think I may need to write something around it
I'd never heard of the band but this song was terrific, I'll have to get their album when it comes out early next year. I'd love it if you had a listen to and review a song by The SoapGirls ?, maybe 'Pyscho, Heart In Bloom or Breathe from their last album, they do fantastic live streams on TH-cam, they have independently released 4 albums which are all excellent, thanks 👍😄
Lambrini Girls are not a strict 3-chord punk band. And anyway, isn't "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" basically just a 4-chord song? Simplifying the guitar is a relatively common practice in music, and for example, Keith Richards often removes a string from his guitar to play with the Stones. Big dick energy is a suitable topic for riot grrrls, though that would not be the mansplaining portmanteau. I think that while Lambrini Girls and Idles are contemporary punk rock bands, the Idles do not really deal with topics like modern feminism, i.e., these bands are not so alike
Wondering if you’d heard of the Wings of Pegasus channel. He’s broken down a lot of vocal performances, and lately has been showing how remixes of songs have had pitch correction applied to voices like Freddie Mercury’s. Myles Kennedy, who he did a video on, be a he knew Kennedy could sing quite well, yet the live shows they were selling, all had his vocals pitch corrected. He’s shown that Taylor Swift used a pre-recorded vocal track, that has been pitch corrected, and the few songs he found it to sound like she actually sings, still has pitch correction and often a track she sings with. He found that the band played almost no music that’s heard, because it’s a track as well, and the shows are so exact, that they’re nearly indiscernible from another, with the music matching exactly. Just wondering if you even heard of it, because it seems like it’s gotten no press, even though she and Dave Grohl had a Twitter exchange, over a comment he made about playing 3 hour shows.
Hey Justin I don't know if you have covered stephen wilson jr on the channel but you should definitely checkout his covers of stand by me and something in the way
Hello Justin.I would like to request a song for you from a band what actually you liked.Band Maid: HATE? Official live video 😉 You will enjoy I promise
It's funny (sad) to see this contrived pastiche of punk by young musicians. It's all been done before, better. I know it's different now (no it's not) & old people won't understand (yes we do). Do you have adverts, "Protect and survive", broadcast on TV telling you what to do after a nuclear attack, or weekly power cuts for 4-6 hours at a time, being hit with thick leather belts at school for any trivial matter, unemployment at over 10% & real poverty not relative poverty. Where were our therapists & PTSD victim groups? Did we go into meltdown if someone looked at us the wrong way or teased us? No.
Great band with lots of talent.
Another band I've not heard of. Keep up the good work, Justin.
Dam, this is what we all need right now. I instantly went to their TH-cam page and subscribed.

Absolute fkin banger! There was a lot of stuff going on and really well written. Lyrics hilarious as well.
Thank you so much Justin for bringing this absolutely great band to my attention. And yeah girls, rage on. I'm so over a lot of stuff and I scream right beside you

Big D Energy would be great for those corporate idiots. I am retired and so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.
perfect and humongous mix & production - This is what I always wanted from Sleaford Mods
Oh hell yes! I can’t wait to rock that one - especially when I’m angry! Thanks Justin! Tootles! Lol

Thanks Justin. TIL about a band I have never heard before. Great to see you on the inter web again.
Oh my OMG! I LOVE this. My mother would be horrified . . . until she actually settled down and listened to the lyrics. Rage on, ladies, rage on!
One of your best - great humour from you, and respect for the women in this band.
You always turn us on to great new bands! These girls ROCK! I think some thanks need to go out to Jenny as well. I have experience everything they speak about in this song. Wish I would've had the balls to speak up in my day...well I did when I got older and then GOT FIRED! Imagine that! #GIRLPOWER
yessss lad! Was just thinking that your reaction to Lambrini Girls would be very interesting! Take care! x
The intro sounds just like IDLES "Never fight a man with a perm"... honestly the entire song sounds like IDLES finally learned how to play chords lmao
completely true, literally what would you get if you crossed amyl nd the sniffers with idles
My thoughts exactly. Imagine all three on the same bill. What an epic gig that would make!
I thought I saw you in Bradwell yesterday. Very nearly went up to the man to thank him for all the joy he's brought me over the last 20 years.
Awesome, thank you!
I shared “Big Dick Energy” on my work Slack channel a few weeks back and I wasn’t fired or called to HR after so I think I got away with it!
You probably have the correct genitals

Their fragile egos couldn't handle it! Way to go!
@@hollylewis5302 Exactly! ❤
You're very humble
@@Bobaganush26 Aw, you must be soft
Another awesome band I'm introduced to through Justin. They have serious Amyl and The Sniffers vibes, which I love.
Amyl and this act sounds like a great evening. Sorry I missed that date here.
I liked them more than I thought I would. I'm a resigned and tired old woman, and it's nice listening to people who are not 🙂
I found some new (to me) bands with a crunchy, rocking sound: a guy named Ayron Jones, albums “Child of the State,” and “Chronicles of the Kid”.

I got one of your amazing cameos as an early xmas gift from my missus Monique. Was gob smacked how epic it was 😂🎸🤘
Bloody love the lambrini girls
Hell yeah, they're great. 😎
Hilarious song, liked the lyrics, the attitude and the LGs
FKN HELL THIS IS AWESOME. Pure punk!!!! Cheers

It's like Reddit comments got condensed and transformed into a punk group.
Fuck yeah!! This is awesome!
I saw them live and it's a ball. Highly recommended.
Hell ya! This is NOT silky sewage pop music. This is raw, real rock!
Silty.
Interesting punk rock band! And I'm always up for hearing anything about feminism. Girls, tell us how bad things really are out there! Keep enlightening us! 👍🏻
at the end suddenly thought of submans brilliant band.... wish them the best x
I've heard them on 6 music,i like them,lots of venom 😉👍
Great song! Finally some heavy punk
575,000 🎉🎉🎉
The LG'z ❤ Brighton Massive
Cheers Justin ✌️
Hotwax...need to check them out Justin ,the bassist Lola is special ...and from the USA check out Speed Of Light 'teeth' brilliant band and very very young
I think they opened for Royal Blood here almost a year ago. I didn’t care for the singer, iirc.
Random weirdness: You're back to back with a reaction to "thing called love" in my subscriptions feed (black pegasus and krizz kalico)

I wanted to write munna jet wah but I have too much pride.
Thanks Justin! Just bought tickets for their Oslo show next year. I am so happy to be living my (late) mid-life crisis with music of my youth.
Yep I like them 👌
Oh, Hasselfluff is back! 🙂
Indeed, the women fucking Rock!
Give the Soap Girls a listen Justin🤘
Well, I liked the song😊
Seb's favourite band!
They supported Amyl and the Sniffers on their tour.👍
well I could watch your videos but I Believe in a Thing Called Love is all I need
awesome
Cancelled is online bullying by bullies
Meh- they're no L-7.
If you lile these guys, you should check out Panic Shack as well! Caught them at a festival in the summer - great stuff!
Yay🎉
Now this is a type of feminism I can get behind. Although I get the sense its just company culture driving both sexes mad
@JustinHawkinsRidesAgain: It misses Keith Richards for "One hit to the body"

The genius that is the Lambrini Girls. Can't wait to see them in Birmingham
Nice. Like. Big bass = Good
I feel like they're Pixies fans.
Check out Alex Meltons cover of 'I believe in a thing called love'. Would love to see you review it.
Tbf, all Alex's covers are brilliant
Hope this is the reaction to AI and auto tune. It rocks
Do a review on MIXED UP EVERYTHING - Would You Be Me?
Killer track by 4 Aussie brothers

This is a bloody good band. I've been listening to them for over a year now. I love the songs "White Van" and "Help Me I'm Gay". So good.

Good afternoon genius, if you insist so much on your recommendation, I will take a careful look at it 🤔🙏
There’s a video with a photo of you partying with P Dildo
Tell us more about it 😮
There are better Brighton based bands like wild horse, definitely not a fan of this
Yikes
Its another Fall-Lite band. Without any of the wit or originality.
Not melodic enough for me. Late 70s/early 80s punk bands like the Plasmatics and X did it better.
Where is Jenny May lately? I miss your bantering.
Nah doesn't interest me.
Not keen, clichéd lyrics and unoriginal sound
