What city are you near? What are your seasonal extremes? CA's micro-climates can make it hard to know if I could replicate something like this in Mariposa County.
I'm in Oakdale! Mariposa county is very similar weather wise to Stanislaus County. My sister lives in Mariposa county and grows all the same things I do. Her fruit is usually ripe 1 to 2 weeks after mine starts ripening.
