Keep chickens from roosting in their laying boxes!
This is my favorite tomato best flavor I grow them every year
When they turn brown they kind of taste like a dried apple crossed with a dried banana, with a slight bitter after taste.
Can you do another garden tour? I'd love to see your later summer garden. I live in the same climate. Trying to figure this CA native thing out.
The cracks form due to the fast growing on the inside. They run out of room
I jus found out myself I bought seeds at Monticello plantation recently it said nothing about the leaves neat
Something that might help you is to nixtmalize it first, as otherwise you won't unlock the nutrients in the corn. Great job showing this whole process, and your cornbread looked gorgeous! ❤
Very cool!
Can i use this type of corn for making tortilla?
Very cool! Tha k you for the updates! Keep em coming
Yay!
Great growing tips 👍
my chickens keep digging tunnels or deep holes around my fruit trees, eventually killing them. do yours not do that?
Thanks for the walkthrough! So wholesome having your kids be apart of the whole process
Yummy, yummy. You didn't show the pit, it can break teeth if bite too hard into it.
Are you still using grains for compost and chicken feed? Thank you
Where did u buy Jujube plant?
Please put out more videos
You forgot to mention there is one big seed in the center there that you apparently discarded.
Thank you for making this informative video :)
Do you know where can I buy pawpaw tree
I’m growing this, I hope it turns out as well. Does it taste different from regular corn?
Maybe grain from beer processed was a healthy food for animal/ bird as soybean lessover from Tofu was very healthy for big in tropical country.
did the paw paw eventually bear fruit?
In the cup of water the small stick I noticed is was upside down, definitely won’t grow roots in the submerged area because don’t have a node to do so,thanks for sharing it!
good job, are you able get ripping fruit?
God bless you 🤣
This was 42 months ago. How are the pawpaw? I'm in the Sonoran Desert south of Tucson. Going to be starting 12K seedlings of Jerry Lehman, Neal Peterson & KSU cultivars. Are you in the Mojave Desert or North of there?
Thank you for your video im thinking of growing 2 myself
A bag of these was given to me by an older Vietnamese lady in San Francisco. I don’t know if she grew them or bought them at an Asian market, but it was my first experience with them. I agree with the Apple comparison, but for me there was more crunch than actual taste. Thank you for this video.

Hi there! Where did you buy your tea plants? I planted one last year, and it's died. Thanks for sharing.
How many plant did you start with and how many has survived ? I'm in socal and I'm about to try growing them again. I've had 4 die on me so far.
It is a good idea! I use my t shirt 😂
We are in Snelling and are curious about your paw-paws! My husband planted four trees three years ago and we got two fruits this year!
Shut up
Thinking of fun Christmas gift for neighbors who garden.
Hey looking great! I love that your animals share the space with your fruit trees, shade and food for them and fertilizer for the trees! Have you had trouble with corn blowing over in the wind? We've tried two years now and both times the wind killed my corn before it was ready.
Yes! My corn has fallen down every year except this year. I've always planted my corn in relatively the same spot or at least facing the same way. This year I planted it facing a different direction that would have a semi wind break from our garage and I put it between 2 trellises, one with squash and one with corn to provide a wind break that way as well and it worked!
Very informative
Awesome. Are you in nor cal? I am in the valley and it is hot and dry. I don't have the space you have and I'm super jealous.
I am in the valley too! Oakdale
@@californiagardeningmom3441 Manteca here. Beating this drought and keeping the plants healthy is gonna be hard. I absolutely love your garden.
Hi ow are your tea plants doing?
Good! I'll do an update soon

Also, do they grow well, or at all, in the Midwest? I’m in Ohio & it can get pretty cold in the Winter. We grow great apple trees here so I was wondering about the Jujube tree. Thx again!
I'm not sure!
There was a lady from China who said they were fairly cold hardy in Central China. Forrests of wild jujube trees grew there , she said. Google says this variety, Li (Lee) is good to -20°F or more USDA Zone 5 or higher.
Can you eat the core/seeds? Because in apples I don’t eat the core. Thx!
This is very intresting to grow from seed of seedling starts.
I was watching your video on facebook and thought it was funny your voice sounds like mine. I mentioned it to my husband and he said he thought it was me, with one of my videos.
You ate the seed?
Thanks I already planting mine. How frequently I need it to give watering ?
Thanks for sharing your lovely garden!
What kind of tree? How tall? Everything ok, still? I've got the same dilemma right now with a new driveway project. I don't want to lose my tree and shade!
Fruitless mulberry and yep it's still good 3 years later!
@@californiagardeningmom3441 i have a fruitless mullberry as well, and im cutting quite a bit of roots from it. hows your tree doing now haha?
Chinese use the dry one for soup and tea.
Mine got knocked over too and destroyed my seed beds totally... so mad !
