    I love their tent!!! I was really bummed that I didn't have time to go there when I went to Tucson this year. But now I feel silly because I just found out they're from my part of the country so I can go whenever I want! lol

    Thank you Dave, Great video.

    8:08 I've never seen such a beautiful Pietersite before.
    From the Dark Blue Pietersite to the 18:08 dreamy blue of Larimar.

    That's a lot of cabs. I enjoy learning things from your videos and livestreams Dave. I like the cabs that are unusual shapes. If that makes sense. Watched you live just awhile ago. Nice job on the Mexican lace agate.🙌 🐥😄

    Dave have you run into many people who simply collect cabs and do little or no mounting?

    • @lapidarydave
      @lapidarydave  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      actually, I do most people that buy cabochons for me or not silver smiths, or wire rappers but because of the Internet it’s really easy for them to find a silversmith in their hometown to make them whatever they want. It’s a bit of a Jewelry renaissance right now.

    The clear parts in the Charoite are not Quartz.
    Those hematite cabs look like synthetic terahhertz stone

    You have to watch out for their stones because they hematite was synthetic and that Amazon night wasn’t looking right either And those composite stones for three dollars a carrot😅

    Dude, when was the last time you saw natural gold that looked like it was applied with a brush? That gold is just gold leaf and it is just glued to the black "jade"...

    • @lapidarydave
      @lapidarydave  ปีที่แล้ว

      definitely if it was real, it would be not on the table :)

      Hi Dave, that black jade is from Victorville, California, and it has magnetite running through it. The magnetite is electroplated with gold. The mine still exists, but is closed because the jade drifts at a dangerous angle. A lot of old timers like me have a couple of slabs of it laying around and it comes up at estate sales around here. Love you videos, because I don't get around to gems shows anymore.
