8:50 many ppl missed this moment. It's just amazing how Yerin and Sinb (the two members in front) delayed their footsteps, waiting for Eunha and Umji behind to make sure their steps were in sync. Gfriend got the title queens of synchronization for a reason. From small steps to big movements, they've taken it seriously.
I think GFRIEND seriously changed the game with kpop choreos, especially for female idol groups
100%, like Shinee and Infinite for boy groups, Gfriend's live performance set a standard, as well as opening the door for girl groups to great really involved choreo.
No fr they actually did and nobody can take that credit away from them
So many great things they brought to the table. For instance, their hand movements are second to none. Navillera is a perfect example of this.

@@rjkpopyes they volunteered to try and dance Apple blindfolded. The video to watch is where two members of Weki Meki try to do their blindfolded challenge first and you get to see just how difficult it really is. They are established professional idols but it is so hard to even know which direction you are facing let alone where your other member is. Then Umji and Eunha step forward to try Apple. What makes it even more amazing is that it is the two members who are least confident in their dance ability who take part. I will try leaving a link below ⬇️.
SinB is an amazing dancer as is Yuju once she has learnt a choreography. Sowon learns a new dance really quickly whilst Yerin was runner up in Korea’s version of Strictly Come Dancing just months after debut and is GFriend’s lead dancer.

I don't think people realize HOW difficult what they did dancing an entire verse blindfolded was. I mean, just blindfold yourself and try walking from one end of your room to the other

I miss GFRIEND so much. It's a tragedy of this era that these great talents don't come together.
Every GFriend dance practice is an artistic masterpiece and no song is ever fully enjoyed until you watch it. Even songs you don’t have as a favourite take on new meaning and value once you have savoured the effortless grace, pinpoint synchronicity and beautiful imagery created by their dance practice. I highly recommend you take your time to enjoy each and every one of them as they are so satisfying to watch and even more enjoyable than the music video for me. Even their debut song Glass Bead has one of the best choreographies which is only partly seen in the music video. I would love to watch them with you.
I especially agree with you about Rough. The mv itself is, to be honest, nothing that remarkable or special - and you actually see little of the choreo.

Nice to see you again. Gfriend's "Labyrinths" album is a fantastic listen filled with memorable tracks. This is also Gfriend's first comeback after Big Hit acquired Source Music.
I understand that watching every Gfriend dance practice may seem excessive and unnecessary from the onset. However, I have to say that one of the great joy of knowing Gfriend is watching their dance practice. What you saw in this go is but an introductory sampling of their beautiful, artistic expression. While Gfriend as the synchronization queens is well known fact in the industry, this is hardly the only reason to watch them in dance practice. Gfriend's choreos are both elegant in visual style and interpretive in communicating the message of the song.
The design of their choreography incorporates non-stop formation changes, creative member highlights, fascinating image setups, and stimulating dynamics It's far more than just hitting the beat with synchronized moves. And the members belabored long and hard to perfect the execution of the choreography with precise timing, expressive posture, and often acrobatic moves to deliver an indescribable satisfying viewing experience. One can only appreciate the full choreography from watching their dance practices without disruptive cuts and individual highlights from an actual performance video by the editor while losing some of the intricacy in its original design.

GFRIEND is UNMATCHED
Their b-sides sound as great as the title tracks. It varies in genre but they're so cool for retaining all the signature elements that still make them sound very GFriend.

GFriend are the queens of synchronization. It is always satisfying to watch their dance performance because it is so aesthetically beautiful to watch them move as one. The constant line and formation changes, the subtle hand, arm, and foot movements. Also, their choreography is difficult. Just like how many groups do not cover Mamamoo songs because of the vocals, the same applies to Gfriend's dance choreography.

Gfriend was on another level with this one 🫶 MAGO was already legendary, but >this< blindfolded dance is genuinely one of the best things I've ever seen in and outside of kpop hwhsjjsdk Their dance practices are the cherry on top of a perfect discography!

I am grateful we have Viviz, but content like this just makes me realize how we were robbed of GFriend right when they were maturing into a killer group. HYBE made a business decision, I get it. I'm in the music industry. I know how it works. But GFriend of this era was in their maximum productive phase, where it was easy for them. (And they earned everything the hard way, also). It's such a tragedy that they were not allowed to play that out.
RJ, I really need you to react to NU’EST. Although they are disbanded now, they are one of the greatest kpop groups in history. They have it all: vocals, visuals & just an absolutely talented group.
I will forever hate HYBE & Pledis for disbanding them. They didn’t want to break up & they were finally reaching the success and popularity they should’ve had all along.

I really recommend you to react their 2x speed dance compilation..
To be frank Labyrinth sounds nothing like any of their other songs, in fact the song has a completely unique sound that you really can't find in any of their other songs.
It has a bit of a Japanese sound to it and to be frank the hook or whatever you call it is a direct copy of the Keyakizaka46 song 『語るなら未来を･･･』it can't even be a coincidence with how similar it is for 15 seconds.
You should check out Viviz; Eunha, SinB and Umji's group after Gfriend disbanded.

I will say that I actually prefer the dance practice video of Rough to the actual mv. The dance is so amazing and you don't really see much in the mv, while the mv is nothing really special.
