He’s not lying. The FX and fader help you to really transform a song. A lot of what Ive been doing on the device is layering on the spot. Can’t wait for a way to live record sessions.
I'm about half way through your KO2 tutorials and I think the simplicity of your approach to beatmaking has everything to do with why they are so great. There is a simplicity and a clarity that makes it easy to understand the the weight and value of each action and parameter. Really nice, thanks.
Ive not been this excited about wanting to buy something for a very long time. It seems like a big step to take moving from a laptop though, im scared 😢
I didn’t think you could affect each group with the fader by itself. I have been applying effects and it’s been effecting the entire beat. So I I wanted to compress drums on group A alone, that’s possible?
If you want to compress a single group, you would have to use the SEND FX compressor and only send audio from one group to it…NOT the master compressor. Hope this helps!
quick question! When i sample something in the KO2, then scroll through the sounds in sampler, i find that the stock samples are overwritten with the thing that i sampled. which i don't want to happen. Do you know how to stop this? thank you!
@@SONWU gotcha, as long as I understand that. They need a song mode so you can arrange your scenes and record them into a daw or export them. But maybe this dictates a more hands on interaction.
Do you mean non-sample based? or do you mean just releasing somewhere else but youtube? I haven’t released anything “official” in a while…but you’ll find plenty of original music among my videos here
🔥my new sample pack "DOJO DRUMS vol.1" is now available here 🔥

Yeah, recording punch-in FX would really be nice!
Thanks for sharing
You could send the audio from the ko 2 into an audio channel in a DAW and record everything, then edit as you like.

Thank you very much, that's nice to hear :)
This platform is just awesome. I would love to see a powerful sequencer with step components in this form factor.
Thanks for the video!
Great vid.
All of these tips/suggestions work in just about any genre of sampling. Excellent
Thank you! That’s true a lot of knowledge can be applied in other places.
This is a great video! Very well done. I will be replaying this many times to help me with sampling.
Thank you!!!
Someone needs to recreate the EP-133 on an actual old-skool calculator!
someone needs to remake the OP-Z with proper sampling ;)
Bro thanks a lot for sharing

@@SONWU thanks, how do I do that? Is it in manual?
@@bbailey0625 No worries, I made a tutorial on the FX: th-cam.com/video/g-ijBJUuMH4/w-d-xo.html

Sorry, I have never had this happen to me…it always samples into empty slots on mine. 🤷♂
Thanks for your videos. How do you get a project to play through all of the scenes? Like from scene 1-6, if you made 6 scenes.
Gotta do it manually…sadly

DOPPPPPPPEEEEE Beat!!

Sehr nice
Danke!
Now I’m in total confusion. This machine or a simply arturia drumbrute? But with this I can have bass, synth and of course….drum bases . Gosh
It’s a sampler…it records sounds and plays them back :)
Do you make original music too?

What sample number are you using for the d group, I really like it
It‘s not a stock sample…but I don‘t remember where I got it from
