Please tell what's your opinion on Ohlins. I have considered them but I know things aren't always as marketed. Is it that the rebound slow as you mention in the video the shock being slow.
Better off with HKS I think - they take into account for the different geometry of the rear suspension between the BRZ and the GR86 (so they have 2 version of each suspension they sell for the twins). Ohlin's don't - were lazy on this one.
Totally agree. There is a street and track set up with inverted shock. Much better tuning. Tested in japan circuit. We are a prodealer and ship world wide !@Blight-fp3vt
great build. thinking about HKS supercharger too. could you give us more information on dyno data, i mean the graph itself not the max results. what is also very interesting is the oil pressure drops on the right corners. did you do some modifications to prevent them?
Primary issue is high g forces I think once this car gets a proper suspension set up it may become an issue. We have the dyno plot available in our last video 📹
@@xiiimotorsports Thanks! Do you think that one achieves high g forces when drifting? My build is aimed at street driving/drifting and there are not many information on pressure problems when drifting.
Drifting generally you have less sustained lateral g. Although holding the car on the Rev limiter is going to test the oil system. I would stay tuned we will discuss our tricks over the next few weeks for keeping our engine alive
Definitely not at only 308WHP/330WTQ.. unless you're referring to it being a track car, then you could say the same about any car used for on the track.
Apples to oranges comparison. Fa24 makes way more torque than k series. You also don't need to spin it so high to make power. There is also no vtec system. To much differences for a fair comparison
@@xiiimotorsports either way a 300whp 90’s civic will spank a 300whp brz/frs/wrx dont matter how much tq either one makes and that’s with 20 year old technology, 228hp in a 2024 sports car really?? And the STI has had how much hp jump in 20 years? Damn
Bro you're LARPing. The comparison is nill. This is a bolt-on supercharger kit made to give a tiny bit more power to the already decent FA24. The K20 and K24 requires huge mods to the head to give out anything close to 300whp, and the kits are way more expensive to add up. A basic K24 requires a z3/z7 head (at the very least), and a 10K turbo or SC kit. Lets not even consider tune up or mpg cost. Its ridiculously different. Go back to playing forza.
@@maybelive765 yep ur right, I was talking about 100% stock long block, just a bolt on supercharger kit on both cars bud, how could you think I was comparing a N/A Honda vs a boosted F motor? 😂🤣
Love ❤️ this build
Appreciate it 🙏🏾
Great presentation and comments. Track times and dyno data would be helpful with this project.
Thanks for the suggestions ! We will update show notes with specs
Dope!
Thank you
Nice!
Thanks!

The coilover kit is under sprung the dampening is not terrible

Great vid. I wish the TVS kit was this cheap, better sound ;(
Thank you
Hello! Cool build, what is 0-100, 0-200 time?
When we are able to get our hands on the car we will test with draggy. I'd estimate 5sec or less 0 to 60
@@xiiimotorsports impressive! Are you going to apply HKS Engine capacity 2.5L kit?
@@игорьбелоусов-х3д possibly in the future
Is this kit capable of making 340whp? Can you get a smaller pulley?
I believe so. We maxed out the stock fuel system so a few upgrades would be in order
Hows that clutch holding?
It may come as a complete surprise but it's totally fine ! I just drove the car again on Friday
@@xiiimotorsports that’s great let us know if it starts slipping.
@tone3560 I will if it does we will upgrade to the HKS light action kit
Beautiful but its a ticking time bomb. Porsches aint any better

Dang that’s not much power, super charged Honda K motors have been making a lot more power for 20 years now

@jonathanramirez878 we are all about data not opinion. The reality is your right 300hp in a 2200lbs 90s civic will beat a 2900 lbs brz.
