That moment when you said beginnings and endings feel like you're waffling through the story, but the middle is where you feel strong, is the most I've ever related to another writer. Because that is real.
I SUPER relate to what you said about trying to include more play/ low stakes work. Im still in my fairytale retelling phase. Currently rewriting Rumplestilskin into a version where the heroine burns the castle to the ground and frees Rumple from his cursed servitude. Nano this year is gonna be lit 😆
I revised the 70k I had on a manuscript I'd stalled on over the past two weeks, and now I have a fresh outline! Filled in plot holes, and have the rest of it planned out to get this thing done by the end of the year, starting with NaNo! Good luck! You can do it!
I've been working on my story a lot today and I was running low on steam but I saw this posted on TH-cam and it has refueled my fire! 😁😁 you're so cool

Especially with how your pain has been, I think it's a great match to go into NaNo with a less exhausting style of work and give yourself a fun month after all that's been thrown at you. I completely resonate with the 'play' part of writing so much! I am a firm believer that writing should be play, even for a published author, and I have really taken steps to try and master that. As a self-proclaimed pantser, one of those ways has actually been to plot and...XD I've never thought in a million years that I would actually get plotting to work for my pantser brain but I'm so glad it did because burn out is beginning to feel like a distant memory.
ooooh that’s so amazing you can find fun in outlining! I’m also a pantser and while I can’t scene by scene outline I’ve been working on prep for preptober and it’s been sooo fun!

Hey Rachel, I've been considering what it'd be like if I started my own writing blog on tumblr. I've done some googling and it seems tumblr still has safety issues. So I want to ask... have you ever been cyberbullied/had to deal with cyberbullying on tumblr? What was it like and how did cope?
I haven’t ever encountered cyber bullying on any social media platform (except for some hate comments here and there, and that’s only on TH-cam, never on Tumblr). Only sign up if you’re comfortable and feel safe!

Writing 10K in a single day is a lot. You deserve respect for even attempting to do that.
Ty! I knew I physically couldn’t do it lol, I just don’t have the same energy like I did in 2021! so honestly did way better than I predicted!
