How can i set load balancer on it when my data are in my domain provider and i already install ssl. Because if we go with https lb it ask seperate ssl cert to install what to do what to choose

This is a great tutorial! Thank you! I only miss one thing, for now, and I believes someone here knows. With this configuration we are not able to change the Settings->General Settings -> WordPress Address (URL) & Site Address (URL) in the dashboard. We need to change this from to for the domain we want to use.
I changed the wp-config.php, so I managed to change it myself. Thank you again for a great tutorial!
How did you change it?
@@vnvnvna I changed from http to https for WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL in the wp-config.php file. Do not know if it is the best way, but it works.

Thanks great video, all worked fine, the only thing I struggle with is getting the email sending to work as I update the user email, no email is sent out for verification
me too, no email is sent to my address
Sundenly after change the IP Address from ephemeral to static I got an error and I couldn't open wordpress. The reason is that you have to set the new IP address in the WP configuration and update those values via SSH in the GCP console.
SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_name IN('siteurl','home');
I don't have a domain name yet so I'm using the static IP address to access my site.
Can I upload theme or plugin in this wordpress sir?

I am using subdomain to setup the SSL. does this not work for subdomain? can i use same SSL for sub domain which was used for main domain
yes, it can work with subdomains
Thank you so much for this tutorial. My problem is that after configuring the SSL, the website is not opening from any PC inside my company domain(it was opening before the SSL) and is working from outside the domain!!
Could it be blocked by your firewall?
I don't think so, because when I connect from outside the company the browser can access the website but gives me a connection not secure Parts of this page are not secure (such as images) @@StuffedBox

Do you mean update the php files? If so, you'll need to use FTP to upload the new PHP file

If I'm using Google Click version of Wordpress on Google Cloud, I shouldn't go with Bitnami for my SSL certificates, right?
Bitnami uses Letsencrypt, so install Letsencrypt instead

Yes, you can definitely use GCP for web development for other clients as well as resell. You can create multiple Projects and designate that for specific clients. Or you can install CPanel and create different websites there.

Hello, am new to this a created a google cloud account and started following the tutorial, however when i click on ssh the console the browers is blank and doesnt connect to anything it happens everytime i try on vm instance the ssh in browser is just blank. I dont know anything about this am not a developer can you tell why the ssh in browser doesnt connect? thank you.
Are you running it using Google Chrome? If so, can you try Firefox or a different browser?

hi there i have currently completed all steps it said my site was secure now i can not connect via the domain name but i can via the external ip

Thanks so much. I followed the steps and created my website. But when I change the password, I am not able to log in again. It also doesn't recognize the email address I used. I have tried it twice, but still cant log in after changing password. Any solution please did I miss anything?
Go to Google Cloud Console > Deployment Manager. Select your Wordpress project. It should tell you the right email that you put as the admin. If that's wrong, you'll need to login to phpadmin and modify it from there.

Is Google Hosting as good as WP Engine?
Sorry, i have not used WPEngine's service. In my experience, Google Cloud has been reliable.

@@Sub-Zero888 yes it works, that's my latest video of that. I try to remake it every other year.
How do you migrate an existing site
you'll need to export your wordpress by going to your site, login, the go to Tools > Export. Then once you've configured your Google cloud wordpress, you need to go to Tools > Import
i didn't get the confirmation email after changing the username and password and now I am locked out of my website. Please help
Have you tried logging on using your email and not username?
@@StuffedBox yes. Didn’t work either. I’ve looked at this and the main issue is WordPress not issuing emails. I suggest people DO NOT change their user and password until they make sure they are getting emails from WordPress. In my case it was not a big deal because I was just experimenting, but for others this can be a huge bummer

It is not free as you mentioned. There is nothing free on GC
As I mentioned on the video, it's free if you stay within the boundaries of Free tier. cloud.google.com/free/docs/free-cloud-features#free-tier
The only reason for me for TH-cam is to make money and get monetised!!

got this error on deployment in GCP : This deployment has resources from the Runtime Configurator service, which is in Beta. There is no planned date for moving this feature into General Availability (GA). Examples of runtimeconfig types used: runtimeconfig.v1beta1.config, runtimeconfig.v1beta1.waiter ...... help, anyone ?

Having created the WordPress website like this, is there a way to create directories outside WordPress which I can manage via FTP like Filezilla.
