USA and Australia hate carp, Eastern Europe and far East love to eat them, in England you mostly have to pay to fish for them (up to 80lb) then carefully return them. Our community ponds are alright, lots of catfish, bass, bluegill, and maybe rainbow trout by the time you get here. Funny enough I actually fished in Chicago last October and caught some cool stuff. Cool to see the tables turned! 🤣

interesting catch. I would have expected a two pound black ribbed nobbler. Fish may not be good at math, but they generally aren't stupid and suspicious of anything not familiar. If you go out there everyday with a loaf of bread. It won't be long before they come up to you when they see you.
