Due to the close proximity between the Gupta Brothers and Jacob Zuma that South Africans started calling them 'Jupatj'. There are very serious allegations of corruption against Jacob. Gupta brothers are at the center of these allegations.
It is alleged that President Jacob Zuma benefited this family in unnecessary ways and also provided them sensitive information related to the country. Even cabinet ministers were elected and removed from their choice. It is alleged that with the help of Jacob, the companies of Guptas made a lot of money from government deals and tenders.
