Two of the three Gupta brothers have been arrested in UAE. South African authorities are in contact to extradite them. The Gupta brothers are well known for their connection with ex-president Jacob Zuma. Zuma was ousted in 2018. After that, a judicial inquiry was launched into the Gupta brothers’ wealth. They fled South Africa soon after.

I met one of the brothers in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in year 1996 during a IT Expo organised by NASSCOM. Mr. Gupta was visiting with a armed security guard, he offered my manager a post in South Africa during the conversation, I never expected that I will see this NEWS after 26 years.
