I 'am from Newfoundland on the northern peninsula , i fished out of Cartwright a few times its as far north I've been . I made and use a ice cheaper but it don't remove the ice like the one you use , mine is straight across ,yours is not and works better, love to see how you make them , take care , happy fishing , God Bless
