It remains the perfect antidote to most popular music, and is John Lennon at his self deprecatory best. He obviously had a lot of fun with that one and George Martin came up trumps with the arrangement. I sing it at my piano when I need to let off steam 😂

It's incredible how a musician with education in classical music has created such incredible pieces with lads from a very different background in several levels who couldn't read a music sheet. I soon took up the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra seriously and experienced so much joy and freedom from materialism, that I becamse a monk in that tradition 49 yeaers ago. Thank you for introducing me to Krishna, John. It's the best thing you ever did.
