@@aadityasingh3503 First of all don’t over glorify the army or any defence force. Their work itself speaks for their glory, they have a deep respect in our hearts as Indians. They have earned it. Be it army, airforce, navy, CAPFs and police. Now coming to your point that army doesn’t have corruption, then you must read articles published JAG officers of army itself you will come to know there is corruption inside army as well. The only difference is Army doesn’t come under any state jurisdiction, they have their own courts. That is why you never hear of such cases, but corruption is a real thing in army and it happens. Now for your kind information, there are several army jawans complaining about harassment from their officers, that they are using them to run their daily household errands and what not. Same goes with police, they have a lot more political interference in their work. That makes them corrupt. And there are several examples of policemen who have done their work right, like IPS Amit Lodha, IPS Navneet, IPS Randhir Prasad Verma and many more. Some of them did their job at a best level, and few of them laid their life for nation. So do not doubt them as well, police system needs serious reforms, to minimise corruption and to minimise political control over them. We also need several lakhs of policemen on duty to manage policing efficiently. They also work tirelessly, and they are usually unfit as they do not have a canteen or mess, like army officers , so they don’t get healthy and timely food, they also don’t have enough physical work like army personnels. Government records says an army officer if not placed in sensitive area they typically work in shifts. Meanwhile policemen are generally over worked, they work for around 18 hours a day, even stretching their working hours if there is a VIP visit, if voting is going on, if there is a national event, if there is a riot or crime happening. They have to deal with all of them that is why you see unfit policemen. So stop comparing and over glorifying army or any other force.
Sad to say, today, senior army officers are very greedy for promotions. They are well selfish, and crouption is come in defence services. Defence services have been politicalised by senior generals to be chiefs, CDS, or governer, Field Marshall Sam never let the government interfere in the army. Being from the defence background , I'm sorry to see the state today.
