Yes. Perhaps it's non-intuitive for non-Italians, in fact having a few ingredients is fundamental for Italian dishes, even for the pizzas. You need to taste the flavour and freshness of the star ingredient in each dish. BTW, there is only one in the box. So, it's not a cannoli (plural in both Italian and English). It's a cannolo.
This looked like pure quality authentic Italian food and i wish it was by me as I would order from them twice aweek, and those ribs looked to die for, I wish they would send this out round the country on next day delivery👍🏼
Sadly most people including a lot of restaurant's don't realize how long it takes to cook a rack of ribs to make them that tender, they think 3 or 4 hours is going to do it, the secret witch really isn't a secret is turn you oven right down and let them go for a minimum of 8 hours, but mostly it's finding a sauce you like, personally I love a sweet and hot sauce, the base is orange juice and suger that's cooked down so it's thickened, Sriracha, and some herbs that traditionally go with pork, it's that simple, but always low and slow with the cooking
You can add meat tenderiser ( like some salt powder) which speeds the slow process up it's what alot of the chinese takeaways use to get there ribs cooked so quick

Our are made from an old secret Italian recipe, every ingredient is fresh and there are no preservatives whatsoever in the sauce. Nothing to worry about 😎

That pizza looked quite beautiful in it's own way, a little like a volcano with the hot fiery lava like orange and yellows of the cheese and pepperoni and the black crust like the charred black volcanic rock.
Looks like real Italian. Looks good. The ribs are part of the Italian sunday sauce cooked with sausage, pork and meatballs in a huge pot of sauce... all day. Its very easy. Could just brown the ribs or any pork and add tomato sauce and cook for a few hours on low. Works with any meat.

You are 100% right Dougal. It is Activated vegetable charcoal. No food colouring or squid ink. We have been making the charcoal pizza since 2015 (probably the first restaurant/takeout in Yorkshire to introduce the pizza Nera.) 😉

Sheep & goat milk cheese is a very Southern Italian thing. Sheep are better suited to the land . Cows are more of a northern thing where the pastures are better. Pecorino instead of Parmesan.Sicily is home to the best pastry makers & they have spread around the world . You can see Arabic influences in their food. My suburb here in Sydney has a significant Sicilian base mostly from migration in the 1950s & 60s but also pastry chefs coming as sponsored migrants on skilled worker visa’s in the last ten years.You can get some seriously good cannoli in my high street.The orange slices with the ribs is a dead giveaway that it’s Southern Italian food.The chef Carmello says something like I have been cooking traditional for years.I heard “tradiz “ which I think is Sicilian dialect for tradizione ( traditional) .I might try & recreate it in my own kitchen.Looks great.I think Danny’s best work is when he is trying new food rather than burgers .
