Hello, koen here from holland. I start softwashing here a few months ago. I enjoy it every day, thanks to videos like this. Thanks. Will you, or somebody else, tell me.where i can order the chlorine booster?
I know there are a many variables but what should a customer expect from having their home soft washed if their home has excessive mold, mildew, etc on a three story house? What about excessive mold, etc on plastic gutters and vinyl siding?
I've had EXCESSIVE amounts of algae and mold on vinyl siding and soft washing will take it off. I seldom need to do a second application. I vary the strength of my mix depending on the amount of cleaning I need to do. I use a surfactant with a rinse aid and a catalyst that boost my mix. So it comes clean quickly, and rinses quickly without leaving any residue on windows or other surfaces.

I have a customer complaining about plant damage 2 weeks later I was just using my down streamer..I have to go and take a look later today at the plants..If the damage was caused by me can you tell me what I should expect to see?
If you didn't rinse the plants ( shrubs, bushes, trees) before, during and after they will be defoliated. It does not kill them. You don't want your chemical to dry on them. RINSE...RINSE...RINSE!!! RINSE more then you think they need.
Typically algae doesn't live in shaded areas.....that appears to be mildew/mold, which thrive on the north, northeast side of homes where moisture is present. Mildew will not grow in sunlight.
What do you use to clean oak leave stains? Here in south Florida we have many oak trees. They leave horrible almost rust like stains. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
I been doing roof cleaning just a yr now I notice I sometimes create brown rust looking marks what is that? And is there a way to prevent that is my roof mix to hot?

Get a better tip on that shooter so you can hit to peak from the ground. I can down stream from the ground and clean that twice as fast. Research down streaming and save yourself some time
I'm sure he using a 12v pump which works faster than DS because DS cuts the bleach too much. With a 12v pump you can shoot straight bleach if you wanted to (which I wouldn't recommend lol)
I know he’s using a 12v. Looks like he’s using a 1 gpm. With my 5.5gpm i can shoot 30+ ft if needed. I disagree on the 12 being faster. Yeah you can run straight SH but no one does. Not even for a roof. I can draw up to almost 1.5-2% DSing which is way hotter than needed and wouldn’t need a latter to hit the peak. I can cover more area faster and rinse faster
No. I dont downstream for a roof. I used a 5.5 12 v pump for anything that requires a hotter mix. Im just curious why you can’t hit that peak from the ground with your pump and how you clean a roof with a high peak. What size hose and tip are you running
I rinse after 100% of my house washes when I soft wash. Even at the lowest strength you can harm plants, especially tender plants. I usually don't go under 0.75% SH and that could harm some types of plants. It doesn't require near the watering and rinsing that a roof wash does, but I'd still at least do a wet down before you start and a decent rinse of the plants after you rinse the siding. It may be overkill, but I've never killed a plant in 6 years of cleaning roofs and doing house washes.

Hey David, if you are a customer, feel free to call our office for all the information you would like. Otherwise a quick search in one of the many softwash industry forums will tell you everything you need to know. We don't OWE you anything because we posted a video. Please do what we did and find the information out on your own instead of expecting someone else to hand feed proprietary information.
No , I have pressure washed many roofs, sidings and never even came close to destroying the substrate, soft washing is way easier does a more thorough job.
The problem is moisture from the nearby pond and shade. We provide a high quality, luxury service for home owners that want the job done right. We carry over $10,000 worth of equipment with us to provide this service to customers. Our clients have better things to do and would rather not do it themselves.
Martin Tully yeah right. You would have to use the equipment for 50+ years to get your money back. Then you have to have a place to store all this stuff, and it's alot of stuff. I think the wise thing to do is pay the couple hundred every year or two
@@kennethrinicker7419 I was thinking the same thing. House washing is a service for people who can't, don't want to or have the time to do it themselves. I got into the business after washing my own house with a pump sprayer and a hose. Takes a lot longer that way, but you can have pro results with less than $100 and the time to do the work.

Good job
Excellent demonstration, what strength mix was used for that? I normally use 14% diluted 3/1 could probably dilute a weaker mix.

Is all about the quality of U work, that matters.
-pressure washer wuld have given the house a thorougher rinse dwn perhaps sum thing to consider?

what chemical are you using?
Andy is a CHAMP!
I just built a soft wash system, I don't like the way pressure washers have so much over spray that can't be good.
What kind of wand is that? Can you use it with a pressure washer and do soft washing like that?
Bryan Williams check out our channel for tons of Pressure washing, soft washing, roof cleaning marketing tips, product reviews and job walk-throughs.
What happened to apply SH bottom up , and rinse down?!
I do cleaning and staining for a living and soft wash is so kick ass
You are not using any protection?
You’re in Minnesota ?
what is the fungicide that you use mate ?
Its good but you're probably using too much product since your not getting adequate pressure to apply SH. You shouldn't have to go on a ladder.
What is the mixture when you use A phone cannon at the end of your wand what is the mixture of your s? H pool

What ratio of bleach to water did you use and what size pump and hose?
Get that xjet and shooter tip no ladders but good job buddy low pressure
Isn't it standard practice to apply from the bottom up to prevent streaking?
Michael McGrath what do you think is in the Soaps that could cause streaking?
Is there any bleach in the solution?
Bleach will not cause streaks on vinyl siding.
Michael McGrath I always apply from the bottom up
Yes it is.. bottom up for solution and top down to rinse..
Also helps for complete coverage as the solution comes down. So you dont miss anything.
What kind of chemical you use

What’s the name and mixture of your algicide you use?
What strength sodium hypochlorite do you use? And....do you use a fungicide?
What kind of detergents are you using? Brand? It looks amazing 👍
Bleach
Jet or downstream
What chemicals used ?
great video
I thought u go bottom to top when applying soap

Great video here
Why is it not one person I see washing a house raises the screens a inch or 2 to let the water escape faster...
Will, you can CLEARLY see in the video these screens don't slide. They are full-length screens top to bottom.
I just have one question for you do you rinse after soft wash or no?

Bleach is the only thing that really works. I ve been using it for years. Doesnt have to be chlorox or any expensive brand.
@Sam Iam I bet Andrew is already failed this business and is starting another knew job.
How do you go about cleaning the windows?
after softwashing siding
Some of what u are saying is correct but other parts are not.
Oh but the chemicals don’t speed up the aging of the siding. I see
I don't know why but it's the north side is the side is the dirtiest side!
What ratio
With honda 690 don't need to use ladder

Awesome!
Soft wash is not better then able to switch over to pressure. Cob webs? Haves? If house is oxidized you don’t want to put a brush on it
I give a 36 month guarantee!! My product has a life expectancy of 10 years!!
So what do you use?
@@richardthompson6909 Probably 12.5 SH.
Have you heard of anyone going blind from sh overspray ?
well if it only last a year, the home owner should invest in the equipment himself, or at least trim the csuse of the problem back.

Jeromey Cole 1. pump up sprayer $16.00, 5 gal bleach $15.00, most people have a ladder and water hose.

Martin Tully how much you think it will cost if they fall off the ladder or destroy their home because they use a 0 degree nozzle tip. 😂
All you did was bleach the side.
I don’t think you should use bleach for siding
He also made the sale.
Jordan Thomas obviously
@@Josejjgonzalez you can use bleach, no problem. Always test it first on an inconspicuous area. I never had a problem with bleach on vinyl siding
