I went to this tournament. The PM pot was actually split 33 ways instead of 32 because one of the pools hadn't finished yet. :)

@@xael-the-artist7708 if I remember correctly, my loser’s semi’s opponent and I received $1.50 each whereas everyone else received $3? I’m not too sure anymore, Olympus was nearly 10 years ago at this point and I already have a not-great memory.

Man, I never realised until now how hard it would've been to setup a Smash 4 tournament. Sure it's almost the same amount of stuff as a Switch, but to bring both the Wii U game pad plus that longboy console seems like a hassle.

Same in reigon the biggest esport is smash other games like fifa got pratcipents but smash had a weekly and had more and is more popular for sponsors and the community is very hige in in the mena pre covid the scene used to get 50 to 80s players but die to the venue asking people to be listed it just 52 but yeah the middle east jas amazing players that got high placements and beat top player ee will for sure be the next big power in smash

Damn, Smash 4 got the worst treatment out of any Smash game before Ult was tarnished by its criminal enabling, childish people who piggyback on silly trash over actual issues and listen to attention-grabbing children that never actually play the game. Sucks because Smash 4 was one balance change away from being something besides the divided casual content. It's the game that was setting the ground for disaster.
In case someone talks about buffer: Yes as an Ult player, I know. The thing is, not enough people are loud enough. They're too focused on matchups that they are lazy over and whine about them on Twitter. Literally, only two people genuinely criticize the real issue because Smash Twitter is filled with so many drooling babies. Game's gonna die before 2023 because of them, jfc
