He really was ahead of his time and a visionary, misunderstood with poor execution. If lady in the water was done like the shape of water, could’ve worked
@@HalfEatenMedia It's one of those things where yes maybe you don't want a monotone, dull and old Bruce Willis to help sell your movie but at the same time I'm just surprised he's not out there pushing the sequel to one of his most highly regarded performances
I really wish M Night did more with the "Eastrail 177" movies, but it's probably better to end it the way he did. Better to end on a high note then to burn out slowly like most movies and shows
This movie wouldn’t have been nearly as good knowing it was about superheroes going in. It made Mr. Glass so much scarier. Had I gone in with the expectation of a hero and a villain, I would have been “BAM! That’s the guy! He did it!” See back then we didn’t have smartphones so if too many people could guess the ending to the movie we would riot and start all kinds of trouble until the National Guard stopped us and then they made laws that twist endings couldn’t be in your trailers and as soon as we remained seated throughout movies they released the MEphone and now nobody cares about suspense I tell ya.
I'm curious, why do you think it was ruined with Glass? To me, Glass is close to a perfect ending to the trilogy, in part because of how it subverts expectations. But I'd love to hear your take on why you disliked it.
He was so far ahead of the times... who knows (with the world crumbling around us), 'The Happening' could achieve cult status too :p (if we're still around to appreciate film).
2023. 23 years later, and there is still absolutely NOTHING like Unbreakable in the entire superhero film genre. Amazing.
My favorite M. Night film. Unbreakable is brilliant!
i like all his films even tho some are like wtf
Can't wait for *Glass*
As long as he don't make a sequel to that movie where the flowers was killing people
He really was ahead of his time and a visionary, misunderstood with poor execution. If lady in the water was done like the shape of water, could’ve worked
Is this that guy that ran over Mel Gibson’s wife in Signs??
@Willem DaFuckedUp ikr, what an asshole, thank God we have down to earth directors like tarantino who won't do such a thing
R S no. M Night Shyamalan directed signs guy
Yes.
“Wait till this kid finds out” 😂 I love you Samuel!
Spencer Anderson I wonder what he meant
I know! I’m still looking forward to Glass! 😍
just saw unbreakable one of the finest comic book movie ever ever made.
Unbreakable is his best film
Its sixth sense , he got nominated for best director and original screenplay
So Bruce is doing no publicity for the film am I correct?
Probably for the better. He's burnt out from show business. It would be nice to see him excited about his own film though.

I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, im curious what M Nights connection to OI is.
Vamos ver o vai acontecer

Considering how much Samuel hates M Night in this interview... I wonder why he came back for Glass-
Money that is the answer :|
Glass is not that bad guys :D
👍👍👍
The Ending of Glass.... ... Oh dear

@marcus howard all dies
The ending of glass wasn't as bad as everyone thinks
Every is so fixed on davids death they didn't see the real ending to the movie
@@kylepatrick3284 ikr, the ending was very thought provoking and poetic. But everyone is to upset with davids death to get the bigger picture
