I'm really glad Shyamalan is back, did a fantastic job directing, but McAvoy gave a friggin Oscar worthy performance. And that ending... try your best not to let it spoiled, it is worth it.
We all know James is a astonishing actor...putting that on the side his persona is so genuine his way of thinking so humble that what I truly love about him His nothing like the Hollywood actors his different...I wish him alllll the serenity in life.
This movie is actually pretty good. Hedwig is my favorite personality. He pulled off the greatest dance scene of all time...Also a nice twist at the end of the movie. Lets just say Split is somewhat of a sequel ;)
no doubt Split is on of the best psychological thrillers ever..James his acting really goes to another level. I personally think Split is the exorcist of this age..weird..but it's a movie so well put together and it leaves such a different feeling then other movies... is a 10 out of 10 ...
Really good movie. Seen it yesterday. If you didnt see Unbreakable you wouldnt get some parts in the movie. But it was good. Wasnt scary, just a thriller. Solid movie. M Night makes difficult movies but this one is good and not confusing like some. Just a good movie and the ending was cool...
Yolanda Fuqua I heard a lotta great stuff about Spilt but i doubt it is THAT good.. is it really? or maybe you haven't watched a lot of movies in the past 5 years? just a genuine question..
such an incredible interview. M Knight is a huge inspiration to me being from upper darby/philly/west chester/ PA. Every movie since Signs has empowered and helped me follow the best path into becoming a voice for the people.
Yes it is! Really in for a ride if you're a fan of suspense and thriller. Had me on the edge of my seats a couple times. I like how it was shot too, some parts felt like a perspective view (from the characters), and brilliant acting from James. Anya did a great job too; she's got this captivating aura.
I know I'm in the minority but I love that they gave Night so much credit that he deserves and focused more on him! This Trilogy was truly genius 19 years in the making. And James McAvoy always gets all the attention anyways so - also he Finance glass himself
Saying m night is a bad director because of a few movies is like saying Wayne is a bad rapper because of a few projects. Both of them have a amazing catalog and when shit hits the fan the fake fans switch over and majority rides the hate bandwagon as if their previous creations don't exist
WMICx No actually i think the harsh criticism M night got made him come back to the basics a bit and prevented his ego from continuing to inflate, now he's back with the dope shit
LMAO BRUH. Most Of His Catalog FUCKING SUCKS Though. Huge Difference. Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Visit AND NOW SPLIT. (And People Say Signs Which I Haven't Seen BUT EVEN THEN That's About 50/50) But The Happening, Lady In The Water, The Last Airbender, The Village, After Earth. THE BAD AND THE LEVEL OF BAD Heavily Outweigh The Good. Especially When The BAD Gets Heavily Worse And Worse With Every Release. And His New Good Movies Are Just Solid. Nothing To Sixth Sense Level.
Tarantino Is Regarded As One Of The Best BECAUSE HE CONSTANLY Is Dropping Really Good To Amazing To Classic Films. Not Cause He Made 1 MOVIE And Continues To Suck YEARS AND YEARS Afterwards.
Omar Gardner I'm not gonna defend his bad movies but I will say there are elements in some of them that still show his mastery of filmmaking definitely not story wise but visuals, color, and in some instances yes even writing. And hands down I'd say he's one of the most creative filmmakers out there opposed to tarentino who draws a lot of inspiration from many different sources, yes Picasso said the good copy the great steal & I agree as an artist but as a fan, a fan of anime & the other films like Kurosawa, Hitchcock, Carpentor that he stole from, I'll watch a tarentino and say this is a really good film but how can I call it a classic. People think gore is his style but it's not (that was drawn from another director as well), stealing styles is his style, while M Nights style is creativity mixed with a twist not to say he's super original but he's definitely one of the most different mainstream directors out there. Reservoir dogs is one of my favorite films of all time but the ENTIRE plot was stolen from another film, it's still one of my favorite movies by one of my favorite directors but how can it be considered a classic. When I heard wright was gonna do ant man it sounded like a breath of fresh air, & immediately thought M Night should do another superhero movie for marvel but this I like even more. Why?, because it's something original new and different then both marvel & dc.
Lol a year later, but DANG, this was a Fun interview xD Not only did I not know that James McAvoy was such a fanboy of Back To The Future (which is just So Fun), but M. Night gave Such interesting answers to the questions he was asked =D
aw he's such a good guy and might just be happy for a break. I personally would love to have hours upon hours of him straight babbling, but I feel like directors or anyone else behind the camera never really get the chance to shine when they've put in just as much work as the actors themselves. either way both these guys are fabulous and I loved the movie Split
Drew-Tography Films He is two movies in a roe.. if he's next work is great/good know that he's officially back.. i know, he won't do that Air bender After earth shit anymore i guarantee you
***** if you haven't seen Unbreakable watch that but don't read what the movie is about just watch it that's how I seen it and it and I was😮😮😮at the end
FlyiS A the bad ones are The village i actually like this one tho lol Lady in the water The happening is unintentionally hilarious The last airbender After earth
Otiss same, the Last Airbender is how I found out about him, I waited and waited, it came out I was sooo disappointed, but then I watched his other movies, he's a good director, he just tried to do waaayyy too much when doing Avatar
Come on man it's not like live action movie adaptations of cartoon series have ever turned out well. That perfectly fine cartoon you love is still there untarnished.
M night is so interesting. When he's bad he sucks, but when he's good he's great. Just the Unbreakable trilogy alone makes me forget The Last Airbender and The Happening
9:10 *"Testing the Movie"* -- the problem with this (especially in HlW) is that you get moments where nobody wants to use the restroom because the moments are awkward. Not that you're actually entertained, but I don't want to be seen using the restroom when someone is talking about some shit you don't wanna be the focus because it's hard to look at the screen at this point. Well,......... I mean it iszz HlW. I understand that work ethic. It's how I finished my babby. Go through the obvious boring clicks, replace/remove dull moments, keep your project still in-tact without dumbing it down -- is my advice. So you live your project wayy more than anybody else would. #FireRapsLP
Signs was a fine film. You know nothing about film making. Try to shoot one good scene and it will exhaust the fuck out of you. Night has made 6th sense, Unbreakable, Signs, The Village (which had excellent visuals), The Visit and now Split. That's hours and hours of blood and tears (including his bad films which u so brazenly discount) which u will never realize. Dude, making one film is hell(even a bad one) and with Shyamalan's style and attention to detail it's a nightmare(pun intended)
horrible interview. this movie was amazing and the character that james portrayed was soo complex! i feel like they could have done more with this interview..majority of the time james was just sitting there...smh nobody gives a damn about heather and her fish sammiches
I'm really glad Shyamalan is back, did a fantastic job directing, but McAvoy gave a friggin Oscar worthy performance. And that ending... try your best not to let it spoiled, it is worth it.
The ending was spoiled for me, and it made the movie better!
We all know James is a astonishing actor...putting that on the side his persona is so genuine his way of thinking so humble that what I truly love about him
His nothing like the Hollywood actors his different...I wish him alllll the serenity in life.
I didn't know he wrote Stuart Little. Me and my kids love that movie!
That movie was my first introduction to Hugh Laurie when I was a kid!
6:21 If James winked at me like that I think I'd melt
James better win an Oscar for Split. He was phenomenal in it. His acting was near to perfection.
I can’t believe he didn’t. I don’t care if split isn’t the kind of movie to win an Oscar, James mcavoys acting was pretty much flawless
I have counted three-four solid so far, (Atonement, Filth, Split/Glass) and counting...
This movie is actually pretty good. Hedwig is my favorite personality. He pulled off the greatest dance scene of all time...Also a nice twist at the end of the movie. Lets just say Split is somewhat of a sequel ;)
HEDWIG? like the musical?
Hedwig is a 9yr old personality he plays
he was jammin to that kayne lmao
Sequel of what? Tell me pleaze
mario espaeza gotta watch it to find out, it's a huge spoiler
Sway keeps all the twists of shamaylans movies under his hat
classic
WMICx Ha! The twist of Shyamalan's final film will be a zoom-out moment like at the end of Men in Black

I LOVED SPLIT ! the easter egg at the end changed the whole genre of the movie for me loved it xo
in one sentence u described the movie
no doubt Split is on of the best psychological thrillers ever..James his acting really goes to another level. I personally think Split is the exorcist of this age..weird..but it's a movie so well put together and it leaves such a different feeling then other movies... is a 10 out of 10 ...
give that man an Oscar already, fucking incredible performance in split!
Why u have to ruin the movie by saying, watch unbreakable
raj mehta why haven't you watched it yet
Seen the movie this morning it was dope as hell guys
night - back on track , i think
I really loved hedwig...and etc
SUCH A GREAT MOVIE! Honestly the best movie Ive seen in at LEAST 5 years!
Yolanda Fuqua I heard a lotta great stuff about Spilt but i doubt it is THAT good.. is it really? or maybe you haven't watched a lot of movies in the past 5 years? just a genuine question..
Dormammu psychological thrillers are my favorite genra of movie. The last one I've seen done this good was Seven
Dormammu you really have to decide for yourself. but honestly it is really good.
What about Gone Girl?
Sam guy this and Get Out fkn ruled bro
such an incredible interview. M Knight is a huge inspiration to me being from upper darby/philly/west chester/ PA. Every movie since Signs has empowered and helped me follow the best path into becoming a voice for the people.

M.Night the god of plot twist
heard this is actually pretty good
You Tubed it is. See it.
It is. Just saw it yesterday and was blown away. Worth the $13.00.
Yes it is! Really in for a ride if you're a fan of suspense and thriller. Had me on the edge of my seats a couple times. I like how it was shot too, some parts felt like a perspective view (from the characters), and brilliant acting from James. Anya did a great job too; she's got this captivating aura.
They are both grate in what they are doing..but James..you are just 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍😚😚😚❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know I'm in the minority but I love that they gave Night so much credit that he deserves and focused more on him! This Trilogy was truly genius 19 years in the making. And James McAvoy always gets all the attention anyways so - also he Finance glass himself
Shyamalan got his swag back.Quentin Tarantino said Unbreakable is one of his favorite movies of all time.
Awesome interview. I love the guest they have on the show
What a Twist!
James.....that's zaddyyyyy right there 😍😈
Kim BlaQue girl what! I love him too. Lol
Christain Nash yasss 😊
Saying m night is a bad director because of a few movies is like saying Wayne is a bad rapper because of a few projects. Both of them have a amazing catalog and when shit hits the fan the fake fans switch over and majority rides the hate bandwagon as if their previous creations don't exist
WMICx No actually i think the harsh criticism M night got made him come back to the basics a bit and prevented his ego from continuing to inflate, now he's back with the dope shit
and none of his movies flopped worldwide like the Happening, Air Bender & After Earth
LMAO BRUH. Most Of His Catalog FUCKING SUCKS Though. Huge Difference. Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Visit AND NOW SPLIT. Shamalamadingdong is back it would seem:) I'm glad, he'd lost his way. Especially with the last Airbender, fuck me that was bad.
This movie is a great conversation piece
Doesn't happen too often
big shout out to Michael J. Fox for being the camera man in this video, glad to see he is still getting work these days.
Coach Hines LMAO!!!
Coach Hines ouch!!!! Lol!
hahaha omgsh that's so horrible LOL
Not really satisfied with this "interview" as James McAvoy was not really asked good questions, or credited for his fabulous performance!
Someone give him an Oscar..Etcetra
Very Good Movie and Surprising Ending that Shocked Me
Lol a year later, but DANG, this was a Fun interview xD Not only did I not know that James McAvoy was such a fanboy of Back To The Future (which is just So Fun), but M. Night gave Such interesting answers to the questions he was asked =D
fun episode! thanks Sway & crew!!!
Can't wait to see this movie.
The twist is amazing
im just waiting for my chance.... the best of the best are un noticed
James is just sitting there, nobody asking him questions. Probably feels like it's a waste of time.
aw he's such a good guy and might just be happy for a break. This was great. I enjoyed it.
Split is perfect now stop making bad movies once and for all 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Drew-Tography Films He comin back!
Dormammu I want proof I'm not getting my hopes up
Drew-Tography Films He is two movies in a roe.. if he's next work is great/good know that he's officially back.. i know, he won't do that Air bender After earth shit anymore i guarantee you
Dormammu uh I need proof my daddy told me when I was kid he was going to the store for milk and never came back
Drew-Tography Films wouldn't make any sense to stop after split, especially after that ending.
people say he made alot of bad movies but at least they're original
which movies they say are bad?? i want to watch some.

Otiss same, the Last Airbender is how I found out about him, I waited and waited, it came out I was sooo disappointed, but then I watched his other movies, he's a good director, he just tried to do waaayyy too much when doing Avatar
There are two Shamalans:
1-The Last air bender/After earth/Lady in the water Shaymalan
2- The Sixth sense/Unbreakable/Signs Shaymalan
lol
Come on man it's not like live action movie adaptations of cartoon series have ever turned out well.
That perfectly fine cartoon you love is still there untarnished.
Master Swaggins I guess you're right...
I felt the same way but I cant lie this movie was great
i hope there qould be a 2nd part of split 💖
Mcavoy did awesome. Saw it the weekend it came out. I give it a B
Split is a great movie. So don't go any further in the comments because a lot of people are spoiling it.
This guy is brilliant... his way of projecting shit is genius.... @9:30 he broke it down
movie was tight son
Definitely gonna peep the flick!
8:07 I feel like this Split movie is about Jim Norton and Hedwig is actually Chip Chipperson
I like Shyamalan Direction
M night is so interesting. When he's bad he sucks, but when he's good he's great. Just the Unbreakable trilogy alone makes me forget The Last Airbender and The Happening
I'm tired of people dogging his other movies. they were still pretty good.
GLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great movie.
Great movie
Lol at his subtle diss at cgi movies at 7:25. I guess he forgot James is professor x.
Kenshin Himura Lol he did two crappy CG films himself so..
Dormammu oh yeah, i almost forgot. Split was so good, i forgot about after birth and the last Airbender until you mentioned it.
Kenshin Himura Lol sorry, i guess? just go rewatch Split my man
Dormammu i think i will lol
He winked; I wished be me 😉
Couldn't find a tripod?
Like like how M. Night doesn't mention how great James was in the role. Not that James gives poop.
sway needs to interview Dwyane Wade
That is one big second hand.
Anybody got a tripod laying around?
I'm just confused how he is so intelligent yet so inconsistent
What's with the shaky cam? ;)
Camera work by Michael J. Fox.
Sways listeners must be kicking themselves for not calling in....
It's called "Sway" because the camera operator can't keep the camera still.
منور فنان جيمس

SWAY
Until the craft smothers the instinct
This man ruined Avatar:The last airbender for me. not sure if I can forgive him. but I'll check out split, seems like an interesting story.
The original series is still perfect. Just forget the movie is even associated. Think of it as a distant parallel instead of a representation.
grow up. he makes a lot of good movies
He looks like Michael Jackson in the Thriller video.
the camera person needs less Coffey. Please.
If you love Hedwig raise your hand 🙋
HOW SWAY ???
Sway, keep your camera man from swaying. Thx
INTERVIEW BILL BURR
horrible interview. this movie was amazing and the character that james portrayed was soo complex! i feel like they could have done more with this interview..majority of the time james was just sitting there...smh nobody gives a damn about heather and her fish sammiches
Night looks like Spike Lee
OMGThatsArmani wha?
I'm famous
lol you think M. Night Shyamalan might hire Shia Labeouf for movie
If he wants

THEDAVMAN100 you shouldn't have dropped out of school😂

I will never forgive you for what've you done to avatar.
MNS is a horrible director.
jdub7771 ok.
jdub7771 never forget the last Airbender bro
nahh mate, have u watched his recent movies ... the visit and split both r dopeeee
I haven't forgave him for the happening movie sucked 👎🏾
Albert Williams that movie was hilarious
Albert Williams shows video of a lion eating someone ahh that's terrible
That movie creeped me out when I saw it. The scene when they drive into a city full of people hanging from trees.....from their necks...GAH so creepy!
Americans take bathroom breaks during the movie ?
That's disrespectful !
This guy is still the worse director I've ever seen.
MrFKful hater 😝😝😝
u obviously haven't seen a lot of movies then
MrFKful uwe boll*
Worst director of our time
Ba dum tsss but this film
"M SHAMALOT, YOU ARE A REALLY GOOD FILMAKER, MAN"
