The world of Infamous was fascinating. It started with "yeah, the explosion made you a god" and by the near ending of 2, it's like "oh, yeah, mutants are everywhere like it's a freaking X-Men universe".
What I love about this game is that it still has that Sly Cooper feeling all over it. When a player picks up the controller they instantly knew they were playing a Sucker Punch game without even being told. Same way with how a Fromsoft game alway feels like a Fromsoft game.

Kev is such a good guy. He wanted to share his electricity power with everyone.
He proved and ended a decade long war between infamous fans and prototype fans by just proving them different by the voice of the protagonist.

I still remember when Infamous and Prototype came out, almost at exactly the same time. I managed to get both games and I played Prototype first, because I thought the transformation superpower gameplay would be incredible, not knowing that you had like 6 'transformations' for the entire game and that it and its open world gameplay would suck. Then I played Infamous and it just blew Prototype out of the water. The open world gameplay, the powers, all of it was just so good. Still holds up to this day, honestly.

Prototype is really fun. It's the only game that I tried to Speedrun (and failed miserably). Also the fact that a bothered to search for the game story after I finished it for the 9th time lmao.

They really should have remastered Infamous 1 and 2. If Sucker Punch doesn’t have any plans to return to older franchises, they should get a 3rd party studio to do the port.

Me. Infamous 2 was so fun. The custom mode was really amazing.
Festival of Blood was standalone. The flying bat power was the best movement power in the series

Dude you're gonna love this game. You can emulate the game on PC but it's a lot buggier. It's hard to be a hero in this game because it's so easy to get civilians caught up in the fights

The game is interesting in that way because if you don't notice it at first. But when you're a good guy your powers have more finesse, accuracy, and control to them. When you're evil your powers are more volatile and unfocused.
Infamous is one of the few titles I'd gladly jump into and play through at any moment
Infamous and Infamous 2 were some of my favorite games growing up.

Problem with current games is that they Focus on a few things and advertise so hard around It so you play in the way you want them. These old games had a very wide range of "do What you want in the meantime" or at least the Game guiding you into doing some stuff is not as obvious and gives the illusion of more freedom
The climbing feels floaty because of the static electricity causing you to kinda cling to things.

If I remember correctly the camera at the beginning of the game checks to see if you tilt up or down on the stick to set the controls, so you checked to see if it was inverted which automatically set it to inverted.

The mere fact that the START button is the detonation of the Bomb, that destroyed Empire City is awesome.
I also loved all the NEON lights around the cities at night.
Loved standing on a sky scraper at night and just listening to the Audio Logs after finding all of them.
The Good & Evil Choices reallt felt like choices, and elts admit it ZEKE was was fucking awesome.
I actually still play infamous to this day! I absolutely love the series, it deserves way more attention

The infamous series is fun, and I enjoy second son a bunch especially the powers and chain as a weapon.
Watching Kevduit is some of the best content on TH-cam I've played a few games I probably wouldn't have because of this guy and he's hilarious, love your stuff broski
In short it the karma system goes these 2 ways. Bad- Looks cooler, Cooler allies, powers just add more explosions. Good- Less cool, Way WAY cooler powers.
You look pretty freaking cool however being bad, and you don't need to worry about civilians.
But I cannot emphasize how cool the Good powers are in comparison.
Either way, a full play through is all I ask for. I'll even buy merch if you do!

The camera tutorial in this game is odd, if you move the control stick up, it assumes you prefer normal camera controls and enables those, but if you move the control stick down, then it assumes you prefer inverted camera controls and enables those instead.
I use to absolutely love this game. I always played inverted though, I didn't even know you could change it lmao I wish more people did gameplays of this game!
The camera isn't actually inverted at the beginning, it simply automatically sets itself so that no matter how you moved your analog stick you would look at the chopper.

This and Mass Effect had the coolest karma systems I've ever seen in videogames, like being good or evil actually changes some gameplay
Love how the start of the game has you detonate The Ray Sphere and plunge the city into chaos. Also picking up the residual echo of brain signals to learn information and track people. Best game.

I didn't even know there were newer Infamous games. I started another playthrough of Infamous about a year ago. I love the original Infamous.

The Bad options in this game can be so unsubtle you basically have to be Kevduit to choose those options. He played the game so much different than I did.

The first 2 infamous games are some of my favorite of all time. I wish Second Son was better than it was but it's hard to replace Cole McGrath
If they ever make another infamous game, it should be about a customized character (mostly just picking your power and backstory) that’s released from curdon cay after second son. Replay value to experience the other powers, the aspect of playing in a world where conduits are more accepted and becoming infamous might make other conduits target YOU

Fun fact, in the beginning when you're first asked to look up and left, that's actually a clever way the game sets your default camera controls, setting it to whatever you do first to test out the camera. So as long as you just do what's comfortable, you shouldn't have to adjust the controls in the beginning. At least, that's the intention

The beginning thing with the controller telling you to look up isn't actually inverted, it goes up no matter which direction you press and the game changes according to your preference... you went down for some reason and so it set it as inverted.

I remember Prototype back in the Days when it was blacklisted in Germany at its Release. Somehow i managed to get a cracked Version and i remember that it had no Cutscenes.
But it is still fun to this day to jump around Town and make an insane amount of Mess :D

It’s basically a really well done anti hero superpower game, Karma choices , lots of replayability , skill tree, a realistic feeling open world . This franchise got overlooked so over the years.

Definitely the best in the series. I recently bought another ps3 and a copy of this game and completed it again, last week. First time I played it since it was first released. It still holds up. I played it on my 24 inch PlayStation 3D monitor which I brought out of my storage room. Funnily enough the combo of my PlayStation 3D monitor and my ps3 have been my go to gaming set up of late and I have a ps4 pro and Xbox one x set up to my 55 inch qled which I have in my bedroom. Now I’m replaying the original last of us on my ps3 on my PlayStation 3D monitor. Runs very well on that set up.
