I don't like how the intro was NOT the same. All that the audience could hear was ONLY his heartbeat because that is what he heard chopping that tree and only that even when the guy was speaking. That is how sensitive his hearing is as an animal human mutant. It's damn great work he did with the character and got away with acting not to dissimilar from a wolf or predatorial animal. An actual Wolverine, he GAVE it real definition and put weight into it, very great acting. A Man's man, if you will.

I remember being fascinated by his metal skeleton and flesh showing/healing when he's hit by bullets. I used to turn on cheats just to see how much of his flesh would be carved away if we stood in direct line of fire without letting him heal.
I tested this in that room with the turrets!
Going back to the first level after completing the game is also a great way to test that

Fun fact: The Wii has such similar hardware to the PS2 that third party games that released for the Wii were often sold on the PS2 as well. Which greatly extending the PS2's lifespan. And as someone who was a kid growing up in poverty at the time, this was a life saver.

Such a Fantastic game, we need a remaster of this violent gem. I always really liked the healing system, get damaged enough to see Logan's skeleton and see the flesh and tissue mend in real time.

This one was a really welcome surprise, breaking the trend of crappy movie tie in games, this was soooooooo much better than the movie. The regeneration of Logan's body, revealing the adamantium skeleton under the flesh that would slowly cover again, chef kiss
Please note, my praise for the game only extends to the normal console versions, not the Wii, you masochist Kev lolol

The introduction of the movie was so badass, why wasn't the movie about fighting wars throughout history
The intro was so good because it was a few minutes most, a whole movie of that would drag super hard. S'like all those folk asking for a two hour movie of just Darth Vader wrecking folk like in the Hallway Scene(tm)
@User Name No, you're wrong. That would make a great wolverine anthology movie. And nobody wants a 2 hour Darth Vader movie with just him killing people they just want him to be done justice in his own solo movie and part of that is him killing people.

Everyone and their fucking mother was clamoring for 2 hours of Darth Vader just putting people in the ground when Rouge One released. Half of it was 'doing Vader justice' half of just wanted spectacle.
We already got the rest of Vader and had had him for the last forty years. The violence at the end of Rouge One was literally the only 'new' thing introduced. If that's 'finally' doing the character justice and nothing from the last few decades, then brother you just wanted the violence.
@@username1660 Dude wtf are you even talking about? I never said I wanted 2 hours of Logan impaling people with Bayonets. I said an anthology series about Logan during the wars he fought in would be a great setting for a wolverine movie because they're making use of the characters history and age.
And once more I never said I wanted 2 hours of Vader killing people in hallways I said the opposite but part of doing Vader justice is him killing others menacingly. It could just be two fight scenes and nobody would care as long as he's badass in them.

Once again, the other parts have already been covered in the last _forty years_. If one feels that Rogue One is the first time that's been done (which was a common thought when the movie released), then they're really only interested in Vader killing people.
I remember playing this game way back on 360, best Wolverine game I’ve ever played imo though I never got to finish it, I got to the Deadpool boss fight and mostly remember falling in the blasted gaps of the power plant over and over because I was bad.
Only thing you had to do was aim at him and launch at him.

Apparently they were working on this for a while as just a regular Wolverine game, then the movie came out so they adapted it to the movie

You should play it on PC once you get the chance. The framerate on PS3 is so unplayable you can't even land certain moves
That ending was just breathtaking, beautiful, never seen anything like it before
the forced unleash on the wii was the best game i ever got, it was the go to game everytime I had or went to a birthday party, especially with the lightsaber wiimote accessory
PS2/Wii version of it was by far the best
i absolutely loved this game as a kid, i could never complete it because my brain wasnt fully formed but i loved tearing through the squishys and resetting the level or dying to fuel my addiction

I played this game so much over the course of three years.
I absolutely love the way they redid the movie's story. And one of the things that I loved the most was fighting the costumed Wolverines to get their costumes.
I remember playing Wolverine for the 360 in was pretty fun. Never did beat it as far as I can remember, Disk got damaged. Awesome vid as always kev hope everyone is safe and healthy.
This was the first hack'n slash game I genuinely felt sorry for the enemies. Wolverine was terrifiyng there. Great game!
I remember loving this game on the 360 back in the day. I know I did like 3 or 4 full playthroughs and had a blast each time. I'm glad to see it actually holds up surprisingly well.
Honestly, this is the best movie tie-in game I've ever played. Only other one I can think of off the top of my head that was this fun was Surf's Up.
Got to say thanks for mentioning dragon's dogma, had no idea you'd ever played that and found another excellent video thanks to it!

I remember renting this game from Blockbuster way back in the day for my PS3. Loved it. Was one of the very few games I actually finished back then.
Straight up though modern warfare 1 on the Wii was one of my favorite gaming experiences. I had the plastic gun that you put the nunchuck and the Wii remote into and it played just like an arcade game.
lmao don't think I didn't notice Kev used the Arthur and Lenny drunk bar music in the fight with Sabertooth. Quality content right there.

You can only parry blade attacks. Look for the silver trail. Also try grabbing and then pressing X for an execution if there are no environmental kills nearby

As someone who had the Wii version, it's just as I remember it looking.
My favorite thing to do in this game is hit explosive barrels and watch Wolverine heal in real time.
Also the way you unlock alternate costumes is awesome, you have to beat that costume in a boss fight.

I remember this game, I played it on the Ps2 I asked my father to buy it for me (I was a kid) thinking it was the other one, still enjoyed playing it and then switched on to the ps3. Good Times.
This is one of the best games ever, I played the shit out of it and wish I could play it again on newer consoles. I remember a snow level and there was a random Frostmourne just chilling in the cave, a weird easter egg but awesome.

You should do Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat next. It was my childhood, the only game I've (currently) ever 100%'ed (Wii), and it shows what happens when Nintendo says yes to every idea no matter how crazy. All you need to prove this is that Donkey Kong fights an ape, who is a sumo wrestler, ON A FREAKING METEOR.
It's kinda amazing how the PS2 and Wii versions are totally different from the PSP version because the PSP version tried to be like the 360 and PS3 but It's different too

It was a freaking sidescroller with wolverine in the classic experiment gear at the beginning.
I remember looking for super hero games, stumbled upon this game and it was a blast.
The xbox version was so fun then to end the fight and watch Logan heal was so cool or to do the numerous executions on enemies such a fun game from start to end
The destructible environment in the bar fight did strike me as impressive for the wii

I got it!! The Wii version is basically the Saturday cartoon version and the Xbox/Playstation is the adult movie version!

I didn't play much of the Wii version. But I did beat the uncaged edition for ps3 and I played that one with the unhinged psychopath strategy
The DS version of that game was also pretty baller. I remember sinking hours into that when I was a teenager.
