- Ron is collaborating with Paul Brodie, a talented builder of bicycles and vintage motorcycles. They are making a trophy, one layer at a time, and then raffling it off at the end of a multi-part series.
To enter the raffle, make a comment saying "Trophy Trophy". You can enter once for each of my videos, and once for each of Paul's. When the trophy is completed, we'll have a drawing, and we'll ship the trophy to the winner.

Thanks for entering the raffle!
Trophy trophy . Thank you for all the years of knowledge. I still have one of your books I bought back in the mid 90’s . I was looking tonight to make smaller small screw dimple dies and found you making this and now I have both the a way to make a custom air cleaner top and some custom dimple dies for some bolts and screws. Thank you Anthony
I'm so glad you have enjoyed what you have learned from me, and thanks for entering the raffle!

This came out fantastic! Even after you had traced the second line against the pattern it looked chaotic. But when you completed the loops it looks so graceful. I learn something from you with every video. Thank you Ron!
Thank you so much!

Nice, I actually caught a video 30 minutes after posting.... Can't wait to see what you have planned for this layer. So excited about this collab... Super excited to see the finished product as well. 😊❤
Yay! Thank you!
@@RonCovell - You're Very Welcome..... I really liked how you did the pattern, its looking more and more like a cake w/ every layer. I commented on Paul's video about how I'd like to see some tempered colors on some of the layers.... That would bring a beautiful color to the pattern without the need for paints and it would never need touched up so it would last a lot longer. 😁👍❤️
Trophy trophy looking good!

Trophy trophy! Another great one, Ron :)
Thanks for entering the raffle!
Paul clearly considers that a pipe and not a tube. Just nit picking I guess.
You are the Bob Ross of metalwork. Such a calming voice.
Trophy Trophy. I can't wait to donate this trophy to the North American Hand Made Bike Show after I win it.
That would be very cool if this trophy wound up at that Bike Show!
I agree with Paul, that tubing and pipe are two different things. In his latest video, however, he shows some titanium material that is named pipe, that has all the characteristics of tubing.

Clever stuff
Thanks!
Trophy Trophy. Nice layer! Watching this makes me wonder how well an aluminum disc golf disc would fly. How much would you say the caps weigh?
Each cap weighs about 2.4 ounces.
@@RonCovell thanks for the info!

Using plywood as a guide for finishing the bead. Brilliant.
Jere - I made a similar guide from Delrin years ago, but as you know, it's kind of expensive, and relatively slow to machine. The plywood disc won't last forever, but it may last longer than I do!
One of the layers needs to be a Royal Dansk tin complete with sewing supplies.
Hey, that was a missed opportunity for one of the lower layers!
Again an amazing video mr. Covell. Better yet two videos in a week!
It's a joy to watch you create these sculptures so effortlessly. Simple yet effective techniques make for a both simple and elegent endproduct. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark
