You need to get the little collar and washer that goes on the bolts or the pins and then they won't break so easy the collar won't let the bolt flex back and forth the bolt is not supposed to be down tight against the pin ear
How hard is it to change that cylinder? Had a customer call wanting me to change rollers and cylinder which I’ve never done either but have been milwright in heavy heavy mail industry many years.

Use a flat washer first to weld on then weld the bolt to it it's a lot easier to weld it then trying to hit the hole of the nut
