Ngl I was heated that I lost my last match but then I heard the anthem and realized I have no enemies.
We all got to realize sooner or later that the whole point of Splatfest is to have fun. No need for idol hatred/bias. All of us are winners to have this great game :D

@ogerponreject Yeah, I know. As a Team Shiver player since the world premier that kind of behaviour is just plain ridiculous! Why report someone because they didn't go with the team you did? I'm not saying all Frye fans are like this, I know most of them are decent people, but I bet the false reports came from some Frye fans, I heard some of them can be really toxic. I've actually experienced it myself in game, a few Frye fans do things like spawn camping and squidbagging every Splatfest it seems. I believe it's the same players every time.

I like to think that the reason why they chose to diffuse this song after the first anniversary splatfest was to appease the fans, I like to think that Nintendo actually saw how toxic the fans were and how they weren't even having fun.

You know, almost feels like Splatoon is the best and most successful serie of videogames ever done by Nintendo.

ive been playing splatoon for about like 5 years at this point and its let me meet so many people and even if ive just heard this song for the first time its really so…nostalgic? i think?? im not sure what it is, but im just really glad this game exists and is in my life. i hope everyone had a good splatfest! team friends is gonna win, fyi

Guys, I just thought of this idea for a new splatfest. What if they did one to see which of the 3 Egyptian God Cards from Yugioh is the best? We got Obelisk for Shiver, Ra for Frye and Slifer for Big Man.
I was so excited when I heard this, I thought something really special was going to happen. So I waited 2 hours listening to this for the results just to be incredibly disappointed seeing shiver win once again.
This is one of my favorite Splatoon themes. It's groovy and peaceful - good to have after Splatfests. GG's to everyone with the recent Splatoween!

@nickothewisp not every, but most people choose based on idol. And i cant say im free from that myself. I chose the team i preferred plus a little bias for Frye

I adore this song, but listening back to it, I feel like we should have 100% expected Pearl and Marina for the DLC; you can hear the melody for Color Pulse towards the end of the song. I somehow didn't notice that right away when the song was first introduced in game, but I might have just been too enamored with the nostalgic feeling that came with it, and also the feeling of relief to hear the 3 singing, after the fest theme.
