I like that the songs get progressively faster with every iteration, it's like the final minute itself gets more intense the more experienced the competitors get across the 7 years this franchise has existed.
It was 2017 when I first saw Splatoon 2 on TH-cam and for 5 years I watched and learned from both games now that I play Splatoon 3, I can now enjoy the thrill of a unique cartoon series that actually defeated Call of Duty Modern Warfare II (2022) in the best multiplayer games category. Of all the versions of Now or Never here are my top 3: 1. Wet floor (Splatoon 2) 2. Deep Cut (Splatoon 3) 3. Off the Hook (Splatoon 2)
Splatoon 1 came out when i was just 9 years old. Heck I even remember buying it with my mom at a Toys R us. It's been nice growing up with this franchise, since it's so fun and colorful. I already get nostalgic, and i'm 17. It's basically like i've spent half of my life attached to these games and, after buying a PC I left my consoles a little more and more everyday. Fuck PC online games, these are just better, no toxicity no nothing, just fun. I feel like there is not a single bad track on any of the games. In my opinion, Splatoon 1 music is so iconic and cheerful, Splatoon 2's music is the best out of the 3 games for me and Splatoon 3 really appeals with my music taste since, with the chaos theme the game has (thanks to splatoon 2's last splatfest) the tracks are more like rock or metal themed. After all, I beleive Splatoon marked my music taste, I don't know if it's only happened to me, but I strongly beleive I listen to what I listen today thanks to the first 2 games. I'm really passionate about Splatoon and I really love it with all my heart. Enjoy the games guys, time flies by so quick, damn.
I started playing from Splatoon one when I was super young so I've always grown up around splatoon, and whilst the third game may be my complete least favourite by a long shot (controversial opinion I know), I absolutely live for Shiver's vocals. They give you the chills

always makes me mad how the normal versions are always like 4000x better than the splatfest ones. splatfests are supposed to be these big hype events, yet the last minute of each match has half the energy in its music as the normal ones do. like, more energetic and driving electronic music is entirely possible - they've done it before, why have they never put any of that fat energy into the now or nevers? it's always bothered me.
The soundtrack of the splatoon 3 splatfest may be everyone's favorite but I will always stick with the splatoon 1 soundtracks, because I am a veteran of 2015 and I was the first to see the first trailer when it first came out on Wii u. And I still have the game and the console 🥰❤️
