The death trooper blaster (and the other E11) really confuse me: they have stocks. The Stirling smg has a folding stock and every film with the E11, built from Stirling smgs, has the same folding stock. Pretty much always shown in the folded position, and these nerf guns include that, the folding stock right there, folded under the barrel. And then they put a stock attachment point on it... ... ... Why *facepalm*

Hey Captain Xavier, There's a new Stormtrooper blaster that was at last Toy Fair, it's a Stryfe re-shell as well and has glow-in-the-dark darts. www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=131343506 If you could get your hands on one and mod one, and clip out the speaker (but hopefully keep the LED's and maybe put in a select-fire kit), perhaps you could try and see how it handles HvZ, given you were trying to get Eir to fire glow darts?
To my imperial death trooper blaster, I took out the Smart AR, added a six kg strong arm spring, and it became a very poor shotgun, so I filled in 1 of the barrels and it is now a much more functional 2 shot shotgun. I also removed the stock attachment to put on something else. (Muahaha!)
Thank you for the Death Trooper one, I had a similar idea about making it a shotgun pistol. I think if you could get it 3D printed you could make it basically a shell blaster using the Sledgefire shells. Especially if you make a locking system by rotating the front cap of the barrel to make it "lock in". As it were. Did that make sense? Made sense to me.

X dude. The small Casian blaster has an odd attachment slide on the back end. Do you know what this is for? My guess is that Hasbro were going to sell it with a teeny tiny little stock, but thought better of it.

You could probably put an XBZ in the 3 round smart ar blaster, since that will fit fairly easily, and will obviously fire the 3 darts beautifully.

No. It would not be able to compress enough to catch. The spring has to compress into the plunger head to get enough compression.
