Just picked up Andreas for myself to make one heck of a long rifle, with some alterations I made it an internal magazine and fed from the top using a cut nerf 6 mag that can still be removed. so I can use pre-loaded mags of any size or my 6 round "dart scavenging" mag. i also increased the length of the gun overall and it will be harnessing the power of the K26
The catch and plunger mechanism from Andrea's rifle are the exact same as from the Sentinel. Based on my work with those, I'd recommend lengthening the shell's trigger slot in the back by about a 1/4 inch. I found that made the trigger pull much less stiff. Mine was barely releasing though, so you might want to start with a smaller cut (maybe 1/8 inch) and work your way up.
Hey what’s up! Sorry it took me a while to respond. Between Reddit notifications, Facebook notifications, TH-cam notifications, and trying to apply for jobs I’ve been having trouble keeping up with comments.
Captain Xavier I don’t even now why I’m up I think I need to see a doctor I’m not even on my phone I’m literally just staring at the ceiling in my room in the dark
Peace dude this was two weeks ago I got diagnosed with a very bad form of insomnia and I had to take medication for three days I’m now fine although I’m up now responding to you because I have no school and feel like staying up and sleeping in till 12:00
How thick are The walls of the brass pipe you are using I have found some aluminum pipe where Nerf darts fit in perfectly but the walls are 1 mm about 1/25 of an inch thick
I have calculated that you're brass is about 1.35 cm (17/32") in outer diameter anyway that is your drill bits diameter in metric so it should be easy to measure 👍
An umbrella I had had a ridiculously strong spring in it it would have fit a hammer shot but it was 2-3 coils to long I still have it Lesson here is umbrellas have really good springs
Lol that last mod party i went to i was working on a andreas rifle and that stupid thing peeved me off so much i passed it off to a friend to shove an air tank in and when that happens itll come back to me
me and my brother had a hunter but for some reason he was able to tear off the bolt and broke it, then he broke mine, now the buzz bee rifles with the realistic bolts, I hate them
Because why bother? Direct plunger systems are far superior and easier to build and mod. There is a reason Nerf re-released all their old reverse plunger blasters with direct plunger versions.
That isn't necessarily true, and it depends a lot on what your o-ring is made from. I've done tests with WL grease, petroleum jelly, inox 6, silicone lube, wd40 and silicone spray, on both buna-n and EPDM, and the typical culprits are any aerosolised spray for degradation, and some greases dry out or bind and dont provide a smooth action for your plungers. WL grease can dry out nitrile (buna-n) o-rings but thats about it. It has zero effect on EPDM from my experience. In truth, petroleum products generally damage natural rubbers, not synthetic. So if, for example, you have an o-ring made from Isoprene, then yes definitely do not use WL grease or any other petroleum based product. And, again, definitely stay away from anything aerosolised.
TH-cam has done that for a long time. I recommend using the schedule function. Even if you just delay it by an hour or two, it will be properly rendered when it goes live.
Poor blasters, always being tormented by a man replacing their awful spring with a mighty K26. Not even tormenting, more like improving.
I like how this has turned into a diagnostics, repair, and improvement video

I am making it into a sawed off rifle.
The words from the sponsor always cracks me up

The "word" from the sponsor made me laugh far to hard.
Another great vid. Pastebin updated. The bonus diagnostic and repair was also nice. Cheers.
hmmm so a K26 episode mix with diagnostics and repair hmmmmmm
interesting
whoever is scrolling through the comments: have a great day
You too!
I had a great day, hope you have a Good one too
You too that guy
well... its not a very good day, but i came across this and i just wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart
Thanks komrade
I wonder if reverse plunger blasters could take a k14
I carved out the mag-well on mine to make it take all my mags
that THWAP in your intro is so satisfying
Challenge for you. Make a blaster that uses a k26 as a catch spring.
The Pliancy bullet gun is one of my favorite bolt action blasters. (Do you have a sonic longstrike?)
Youve been surprised by reverse plunger pistols though. Also isnt that why people switch to metal replacement catches?
damn you're already about to be on your 80th k26 video
Sunscreen
And the blaster not catching with a spring upgrade was my main problem
For the first blaster maybe a deploy spring?
Hooray! New video.
LightningEagle14 hooray it’s lightnin eggle!

good luck gettin that k26 to work in a rapid strike....
im still waiting for him to get it th fit
You know rapidostrike don't use springs right? It uses flywheels
@@peace198 r/wooosh
That first blaster looked like it would look really nice with the stock chopped off...
Why you post almost at midnight?
It is 9pm where I am...time zones are a thing my friend.

Hasbro needs to make a bolt-action Nerf blaster. That isn't Rival, but is N Strike.
Cut a loading hole in Adria’s rifle so you can top off as you go.
What spring do yot have in your X-Strike Bigshock?
Hi I love your videos
How thick are The walls of the brass pipe you are using I have found some aluminum pipe where Nerf darts fit in perfectly but the walls are 1 mm about 1/25 of an inch thick
No idea. But if it works, it works.
I have calculated that you're brass is about 1.35 cm (17/32") in outer diameter anyway that is your drill bits diameter in metric so it should be easy to measure 👍
That first rifle has a remarkably similar receiver section to a Russian PPSH-41.
Is there room in the green blaster to attach elastic bands to the plunger and bolt?
No idea. I doubt it.
The Andrea's Rifle internals look pretty Robust.
Yo that Super Power would be sweet with a larger bolt handle, and modified to be raider mag fed.
Just sucks that it's reverse plunger ofc.
Can an umbrella take a k26
You ask that like every single umbrella in the world is exactly the same. Some umbrellas might be able to, some won't.
If you made a nerf stinger and fitted it into an umbrella, it probably would take k26, because you'd probably use a firestrike.
Well I'm sure his tactical sheild/blowgun umbrella might..if one had a short enough segment
I broke my umbrella once, the spring in it was super beefy, might be stronger than k26
An umbrella I had had a ridiculously strong spring in it it would have fit a hammer shot but it was 2-3 coils to long I still have it
Lesson here is umbrellas have really good springs
I had the green one and the bolt handle snapt of after 2 months
buzz bee! me likey!
did you cover the thermal hunter? I am just wondering since I have one and I love it
Yes
Have you done the Ultra Tek Snipe?
Yes
Yay more bolty boysss
It's nice looking, but oh so tiny.
Lol that last mod party i went to i was working on a andreas rifle and that stupid thing peeved me off so much i passed it off to a friend to shove an air tank in and when that happens itll come back to me
Too epic
Can you combine catch springs to let the blaster take a more powerful spring load?
Yes
Pen springs are excellent for it..
me and my brother had a hunter but for some reason he was able to tear off the bolt and broke it, then he broke mine, now the buzz bee rifles with the realistic bolts, I hate them
Hey, Cap.
Do you know if any guys are trying to make k26 reverse plunger kits for blasters? Personally I believe that would be a neat concept.
Nope.
@@CaptainXavier I wonder why that's not a more common idea considering the way people mod blasters these days.
Because why bother? Direct plunger systems are far superior and easier to build and mod. There is a reason Nerf re-released all their old reverse plunger blasters with direct plunger versions.
@@CaptainXavier Ah.
You know what sucks, my Andreas rifle’s slide (white piece), does anyone have an idea to fix the little monster
What’s the intro music?? It’s sick
Carmina Burana by Carl Orff (it is in the video description)
But can a k26 take the blaster that is the question
Even the stock Andrea's Rifle has a very long and hard trigger pull
can i send you a couple of new blasters to see if they can take k26?
Feel free!
Can a Vulcan shot elite darts
Yes
I have that super power pliancy gun lol but yellow
Would putting a small amount of oil around a plunger be effective at making the plunger move faster thus getting air out faster?
Oil is generally not the preferred choice of lubricant. It does not stay in place very well. You are better off using some kind of grease.
non-aerosol silicone or white lithium grease should do it
Use super lube white lithium grease will degrade your o ring
That isn't necessarily true, and it depends a lot on what your o-ring is made from. I've done tests with WL grease, petroleum jelly, inox 6, silicone lube, wd40 and silicone spray, on both buna-n and EPDM, and the typical culprits are any aerosolised spray for degradation, and some greases dry out or bind and dont provide a smooth action for your plungers. Maybe someone who has free time...
Try to put a k26 on a alpha rogue
Why do you know so much about springs tho
do a can it take k26 episode on flywheel blasters
I already have...
what episode?
