Brilliant guys! I’m planning my trip to Peru, which will happen May 27 - June 12 and your videos are helping me so much! Thank you very much! By the way, can you share which tour is this? Where did you reserve it?! If you ever come to Brazil, it would be awesome to give you guys some tips! Warm regards, Gustavo
Thanks Gustavo! We hope you have the best time in Peru and we're glad our videos are helping you to plan! 😊 we booked this trip with a company called Kollasuyo Travel through the website findlocaltrips.com but I'm sure you could also book it directly with the travel company 😊 we will definitely be visiting Brazil on our next trip to South America so will definitely take you up on those tips! 😊👍
Great video, nicely done, I especially enjoyed the music that fit the area well, (thxs for listing the songs too). Being high in the mtns can be a spiritual experience indeed.
Hi! Amazing video! When did you travel to Titicaca? I was planning on crossing Bolivia to Peru in a few weeks but the US has Puno and Titicaca at a “do not travel” zone due to civil unrest.
Thank you 🙏 we were there last year before all the political unrest happened earlier this year. So we can't comment on the current situation there I'm afraid. We have just seen that youtubers Kara and Nate were just there recently though but something might have happened since they were there. Hope you can make the crossing into Bolivia! 🤞
Hey guys, love your channel! Came to your channel because I’m doing the salkantay trek in 2 weeks with the same company! Just wandered how much I’ll struggle with this island without speaking Spanish and if I should do this too? Thanks!
Thank you! 🙏 good luck with the Salkantay Trek! The company are amazing you will have a blast! With the island in our experience it will be difficult to communicate without any Spanish but there will be a English speaking guide who will be there during all the bigger events when the group is together which is great. It’s just when you’re on your own with the family they will of course try to speak to you a bit and it’s nice to be able to say a little back 😊 but it’s definitely not a deal breaker to not do it because it’s an amazing experience either way! 😊👍
I would also suggest staying on Taquille Island. It was a great experience to stay with a family. The food was excellent, the rooms were rustic, but clean and comfy.
@@maryoleary2037 well in the end I just stayed in Amantani for a night and visiting Taquile the next day. It was fun, but I dont think I will do the second time. I'm still feeling uneasy after the trip.
I liked your information about how this one indigenous vegetable that grow only in the island of amantani. And then how tourism is really their main source of income. So, are credit cards usable in the markets or stores? Do you need to bring local currency to purchase goods?
We booked this trip with a company called Kollasuyo Travel through the website findlocaltrips.com but I'm sure you could also book it directly with the travel company 🙂
hi, great video guys with a lot of information, i have one question , did you book your trip from Puno with an agency or you just went to some place where you can take a boat to the islands ? thank you kindly for your time, once again great video :)
Thank you 🙏 we booked through an agency before we got to Puno. I think we actually booked it through Peru Hop’s suggested company. But you can 100% also book it once you are in Puno. There are loads of little tour places 👍

Thanks for watching! We booked it through the Peruhop website 👍 we're not sure what the actual tour company was called though sorry! Hope that helps 😊
@@KittiandJon Thank you!

@@yumyumkitty2104 it was around $50-$60USD per person for the overnight trip that we did in the video :)

Thank you 😊 you definitely can't use credit cards on the island...if you want to buy anything you'll need to bring local currency 👍
@@KittiandJon thanks for the quick reply. I’m planning to go and doing my research. Cheers!
I’m curious know where the Urus go to the bathroom. Hopefully not in the lake.
😂 hopefully not!

are there no crocs in that lake. . .?
No there aren't any crocs in Lake Titicaca!
Why did you not mention the price that you paid for the night
Can't remember what we paid 2 years ago but it's now $55 on the website we used to book it.
