Looks like beautiful weather for your trip,,, we are thinking we would like to go there, so it was so great to see. We thought it might be too much for us. But after seeing your video, I think we might be able to do it..
Thank you for a fantastic and informative video, looks like you had a fantastic time! Can you recall where the shop you visited after the lunch at Green Point restaurant that had all the jumpers and socks was located? You mention it's in a square but I'm not having any luck locating it. Thank you!
Thank you! We loved our time in Cusco 😊 the shop was one of many in Plaza San Blas. It’s about 100m or so down the road from Green Point 👍 hope that helps!
Hello! Really cool video, quick question if it's okay, how affordable were the souvenirs, socks and jumpers? Were they good quality? Thank you so much!
Hi! Thank you 😊 they were pretty affordable…this was 2 years ago now but I think the socks were like $4-5 and the the jumpers maybe $10-15…I expect they’ll be more now! Socks didn’t last too long…they were very warm and comfy but wore out pretty quickly. We still have the jumpers though…again good quality but we haven’t really worn them or washed them all that much since leaving Peru. Hope that helps 😊
This was in April 😊 we imagine October might be similar to April though. Warm when the sun is out but definitely chilly in the nights and evenings. Have an amazing time! 😊
Thanks! Souvenir shops are everywhere but there are a lot in the San Blas district! Green Point is also in the San Blas district on the Carmen Bajo road 👍
Did anyone travel with one year old baby, we are planning a trip soon but i am lil scared in taking my baby. I heard there is so much problem with altitude ?
It looks like that you were there in late March/Early April. Did you encounter any protests and or conflicts? I would love to schedule a visit to Cusco/Machu Pichu/Puno soon but I am concerned about the social unrest.
We didn't encounter any protests during our visit. Peru seems to be fully open again now and Peruvians are some of the nicest people on the planet 😊 the social unrest earlier in the year was aimed at the government and not tourists so as long as you avoided the areas where that was taking place then there were no problems. You should definitely go for it and book a visit...its an amazing country! 😍
As far as we are aware yes. This video was filmed before all the political problems in the country but from what we can gather Peru is now in a much better place than it was a few months ago👍
Can I ask this video is only 10 months age and I see you're wearing masks, why is that compulsory for covid or is it optional, or is it pollution or something?
It was mandatory still when we visited because of Covid. The video is 10 months old but we were there even earlier than that. They are not needed anymore 😊
Did you have any problems with the altitude, we just left Cusco on a medical mission trip and most of us suffered altitude sickness, breathing problem from walking up and down the stairs 😢
We definitely struggled towards the start of our stay. We never got altitude sickness but walking up and down all those stairs everyday definitely gave us some breathing issues! It got a little easier by the end of our month there but never actually got easy! 😅
Hiya Ozzy adventurers, Incas where bronce age people, they didn’t have the tools to carve or mould granite rock or lift 20-100 TN masive granite blocks, it’s now looking more like the work of a previous unknown civilization lost to time, in Sacsayhuaman for example you can see very clearly all the Inca repairs and additions made with a much rudimentary stone work….you can review your footage to see, tour guides don’t tell you this, neither the government or conventional history they teach you in school, same realization is happening around the world with perfect megalithic constructions that are atributed to the last known civilization, I hope you enjoyed Peru, my brother lives in Australia, one day I will go !!
Well said! Wikapedia is not a great resource for historical truth. More like a place to see HIS-story. Q’enco cueva may be a place where bodies were prepared for rituals or even mummification. If you went to the top of little Q’enco you would have seen the body-sized tubs and little round pools to reflect the star lights. I hope you love Cusco as much as I do!
It’s around 3400m above sea level so definitely takes some adjusting to especially if you fly there directly. We stopped in Arequipa for a week first so were already pretty well acclimatised but spend a day or two in the city before starting any big hikes for sure 👍
@nmmk9134 gosh that's a really difficult question to answer! Depends a lot on what you are planning to do, if you are planning to eat out a lot or cook for yourself, if you are buying lots of souvenirs etc. Definitely if you plan to pay all your tours in cash (which you might have to for many of them) then you will need a lot more. Wouldn't want to give you a definitive figure though in case we're wrong! It's easy to get money out at ATM's in Cusco though if you need to. Hope that helps!
Hello, 🐦🐦🦋🦋🌸🥀May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
This was filmed at a time when wearing masks in Peru was mandatory everywhere. Just because you watch a video doesn’t mean that we filmed it within the last few weeks! Obviously we wouldn’t wear masks outside unless we had to!

It appears they used ancient or lost technology to create those giant stone blocks.

How essy its yo use credit card there?.
In some bigger restaurants it is possible but in general cash is still king. Usually there’s a surcharge for using a credit card to pay.
@KittiandJon how much money do you suggest a single person should have for 8 day trip to cusco. (In dollars and thank you for answering my questions).

Why you wear a disper on your face
😂 it’s called a mask…and this was filmed at a time when wearing masks in public was mandatory in Peru!🙄
Why are you wearing masks…🤯outside?
This was filmed at a time when wearing masks in Peru was mandatory everywhere. Just because you watch a video doesn’t mean that we filmed it within the last few weeks! Obviously we wouldn’t wear masks outside unless we had to!
Looks like the surburbs to me. Lima is a city.
Why are you still wearing masks? Silly 🙃
This video was filmed last year when there were still restrictions on wearing masks in some places. There aren't any restrictions anymore 👍
