Every time you approach Mon Repos roundabout (approaching from the 3 storey building/police station) I sometimes see, on the left, up the grassy hill, the church I attended as a child. My grandfather was the lay preacher there and that church is at the end of the road and home I lived with my grandparents in those early years. Wooding Street! Number 21. I guess I'm hoping you might go into those streets behind the main road. :) Enjoying your T&T videos, San Fernando in particular! Thank you for doing these.

JB, I thoroughly enjoyed this video from start to finish. I thought you would have highlighted the area that sells all the delicious Indian delicacies, seeing that is what that area was first known for. I can remember as a child my dad would take us all down there on a Sunday evening, and we would be so excited. JB, that used to be so nice. And when you got there, they were so many vendors to choose from, we would eat there and carry home some aloo pies and other yummy stuff for breakfast the next morning.😊😊 Back then, there were no highways, so we would come via Palmist. Your video was so delightful to watch, we are looking forward to more long videos like this, that is rich in content.👍🏾boss Job JB. Thank you for doing it.😊

Penal is a very nice place I live around the penal Rock road area the place is very safe in the country side only for one ting the Roads are very bad we need to get it fix or repair but anyway it's a beautiful place to visit or live good video keep it up bro God bless ❤

You're exactly right, even though Venezuela is in a much worse economic situation than Trinidad, the streets (even though they are usually in a state of disrepair) are generally cleaner than in Trinidad. I think there is more national pride in Venezuela. They know how to much a lot less go a lot further. This video was great, thank you.
Thank you for bringing Trinidad to us! I have a very serious problem. With the physical appearance in most areas of this country. Everyone has a part to play. In the development of a country. The culture in this country. Gets in the way of good governance. Politics. Gets in the way of good governance. These work shift programs. Should be responsible for cleaning up our sidewalks and highways. In every community. People would rather point fingers. Than take responsibility for their surroundings. Lack of pride and will. I personally thinks. Galvanized fencing should be banned. Makeshift structures In front of homes. Should be banned. Or have a modeled pattern to go by! To many people don’t upgrade their properties! They let it get rundown!

I agree with your take on beautification...unfortunately it does not seem there is a strong emphasis nationwide on greenery and general beautification. Sidewalks are generally absent or in some sort of disrepair. Roads are either in poor condition or have some sort of issue, i.e lack of road markings. It would be interesting if the government proposed some sort of incentive for businesses to create some sort of green space outside their establishments but I don't know how it would work practically. If possible, can you make a video on the new highway to Point Fortin? It is still incomplete, but a large section of it is finished. I think it would make for an interesting video. sorry for the long comment

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 JB what can I say but "you had us at hello!!" We absolutely enjoyed this long trip and we watched the whole thing in real time in one sitting. It is now 12:25am and we just finished and it feels like old times again!! Don't think we missed the PROPS!! that you sent out for us without mentioning our names, we knew you were referencing to us as two ladies who likes long videos!! 💃🏾💃🏽We were cracking up and yelling "that's us!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 . JB you really had a beautiful day to do this trip and your camera picked up all the beautiful skies and greenery!! It was refreshing , relaxing and restoring ..ahhhh. With the exception of my noisy bag of sunflower seeds that was messing with my sister's vibes the ride was perfect 😉. I worked at one of the schools in Penal teaching cosmetology and so there were blurred memories because everything looked different. Also my dad who worked in the oil fields for decades would often take us to penal on his business runs and this is why your drives mean so much to us. It reminds us of times with daddy❤. Thank you JB for this trip, we have a feeling you did it just for us and we totally appreciate it. 🤗
