    FASCINATING !! My brother-in Law, Miller Law from Arima, has or had an estate in PARIA. You really have to watch the entire video to see the dangers in these roads. Hats off to you guys - both Driver & Videographer - & anyone else there with you in that vehicle - YOU'RE ALL VERY BRAVE ! I do a lot of cross country driving here in the USA by myself - even on some dark lonely roads late night with no one in sight for miles - but I'll certainly not volunteer to do THIS drive by myself. I have driven many places in Trinidad by myself, even along these roads, but it seemed different back then ! It's a pretty long video so I'm watching in parts. Be safe guys. Peace

    My girlfriend and I (2 women) made this drive on Christmas night, 2023, in a 2015 Toyota yaris sedan at night from Arima to St Ann's through Blanchisseuse, Las Cuevas and Maracus and it was her first time ever driving on that road. Thanks for giving us a daylight view of it.

    I recently drove this route but coming from Maracas side to Arima. It was one of the scariest rides I have ever taken in Trinidad. I'm not Trini but love this Island and the sceneries. Never travelled that route but it is really worth it. I wish I had the opportunity but thanks for this outstaanding video. Blanchisseuse Road is not really all that dangerous in the true sense, it lacks proper maintenance. It takes a skilled driver to navigate the road. Very scenic and lush vegetation. Where are the MPs for the areas. Guess they appear at election time. The residents should remember all the super huge potholes then.

    WOW... Blanchisseuse is quite lonely and seems too winding and narrow to be on late night or when raining. Looks like there are no residents or businesses - not even a Gas Station ! What if your vehicle breaks down or you run out of gas- is there any Roadside assistance there ? 🤔 Be safe. Peace

    THIS, looks nothing like any remote places I've seen in Trinidad. What about the route that the Maxi Taxi takes to go from Arima to Sangre Grande thru Valencia. I found that to be lonely and dangerous-street wise & crime wise. Of course there are more remote places- no street lamps or residential homes or even businesses for stretches of miles. So which road is this exactly with so much traffic, street lamps, homes etc. Am I missing something here?🤔 Be safe. Peace

      Yes you haven't looked at the whole video, have you? Have a look at the whole video. It starts off in a small town. You can skip to the chapters on the timeline also. Have a look at this video thru the route - it may change your perspective on what the definition of lonely is. th-cam.com/video/i-jowQyEWe4/w-d-xo.html

    A lttle food for thought - you may want to try narrating the video scenes instead of playing songs with lyrics which are not even applicable to the locations for someone who is totally unfamiliar with Trinidad. The video is remarkable but very lengthy without narrations to hold the interest of the foreign viewer. Just MY thoughts as I'm sure thisis not meant for folks alresdy living in Trinidad who are familiar with its surroundings & environment. Good initiative though, much appreciated as I don't really know much of the present Trinidad. 👍Be safe. Peace

    I drove on that road, and it's not dangerous. Drive without speeding. Give the facts with the # of accidents.

    • @eyes-ears-easy
      @eyes-ears-easy  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for your visit & point of view. Accidents alone do not point to how dangerous a road is. The fact that you drove on the road once, safely and did not have an accident does not take away from the fact that it's a dangerous road. Finding statistics is an exercise in futility here. Common sense must prevail at all times.

    Why is this road dangerous?

    • @eyes-ears-easy
      @eyes-ears-easy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Sorry if it wasn't clear but quite a lot of tragic accidents happened on this road. Did you see the shrine? The fact that one side has drops in excess of 75m (a lot of them hidden by bushes at the top) and that vehicles are few and far between as can be seen in the video, makes the chances of someone rescuing you slim if you do go over the side. Another issue is speeding drivers on the opposite side, especially around one of the corners, coupled with the fact that when the cliff is on your side of the road makes it easier to go over the edge. Driving slowly and carefully here should always be a top priority.
