It's nice to see that the public transportation infrastructure in Trinidad is being maintained. I used it a lot growing up in Trinidad, from my CIC to UWI days and always loved that you can get pretty much anywhere in Trinidad on the cheap without a car. Watching this brought back good memories. Now, no public transport system is perfect but compared to some places in the world Trinidad is pretty good.
@@TrinbagoVibes yes beautiful green country and clean. Please show more videos how to use public transport so when I travel I will know how to get around in Trinidad
Omgoodness! Well you have re-opened my eyes to public transport back home for South travel. PTSC has surely changed and they have become technologically savvy! I will definitely use the bus system to go to Chaguanas and South when I visit home again. Thank you so much for this eye opener and keep up the fantastic work! Also, can you do a vlog on the water taxi service?
I'm a huge fan of this local Trinbago TH-cam Channel❤ PTSC buses are my one and only favorite vehicle. I love riding the PTSC buses rather than riding in Maxi Taxis or cars (PH taxis) bus rides is the best kind of rides to experience in Trinidad and Tobago and I's a Trini too🇹🇹 this video was really really good
Nice little buss ride. Good thing about PTSC busses, its very cheap and alot cheapsr than regular taxis or even our own vehicle. Stay safe buddy. 💥💥💯💯💯💫💫💫💢💢
Great video and guide on using the buses in Trinidad and Tobago. I used to travel on the bus quite regular between Port of Spain and San Fernando and found the service good. The buses are clean, comfortable to travel on and I think good value for money 😊
Vibes, another first, like the bus 🚌 ride vlog. Interesting, I remember going night classes at John D and hustling to city gate for the last ECS bus 🚌 to Arima. Lots of changes as apps and WiFi on buses. Back then cell phones were not common 😂😂😂😂. Times have changed but from your vlog people still arguing over seats 😂😂😂😂. I try as much as possible to avoid public transport especially maxis when home. Keep your channel innovative and different.
Trinbago Vibes, I don't know your name but spectacular job on the details in this video especially on city gate. I lived in Port of spain for three and a half years so that was my stomping grounds. You brought back so many memories with this video. Keep up the good work.👍👍
Wow our tt public transport system seems to be on par with systems abroad, I’m impressed to see this and was not aware . Thanks for showing tt in a good light to the world here on youtube! 🇹🇹🇨🇦🥂👍
Hi Rajeev, nice video. So, as far as I'm aware, City Gate is actually the name of the maxi part of the premises and you can also get green band maxis to chaguanas at city gate. The bus terminal part of the compound is actually called PTSC. The Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway begins at Chaguanas. The UBH goes from Champs Fleurs to Chaguanas. After San Juan and Mt. Hope for pick ups - the first drop off point is Freeport. Josiah has a great voice 🎉😊
Ohh yeah it’s the Churchhill Roosevelt highway 🙈 lol, can’t believe I mixed it up and I didn’t know that about the PTSC part, we just call the entire thing City Gate, lol
TBV, I can't remember when last I drove on a bus.😅 I enjoyed it. My sister who is in NY was fascinated with the look of our buses. Far cry from the blue & white buses of yesteryear.😂 Maybe next time you can show us a water-taxi ride.❤
Happy birthday and May you continue to be blessed in this journey called life younglin, you share the same birthday with my sister and another brother (from another mother) of mine

Its also my favourite type of transportation :). Also, is it possible for you to take a bus down to Piarco? Cuz i want to get some airport action!
@@mslilz5407 Sorry,I think you misunderstood my question. I was asking if he *could do a video of going to piarco by bus* I already know that route.Sorry😅
Forgot to mention I remember the old Thomas and Blue bird buses working on the Eastern main road with a conductor and his money back. 10 cents for a ride.
I am glad to see Wi-Fi on the bus finally! I used to ride the bus over 10 years ago before I got fed up of waiting in vain many an afternoon for the bus. I preferred riding the bus to taking any other form of transport bc of the roominess and not having to listen to radio. However, the bus arrival was too unreliable. Nice to see a bus ride to Sando as I once did a sando to POS bus ride after taking the ferry from PoS to Sando
Bus rides nice! Best way to get in and out of Maraval. Tried this exact run some years ago! Fell asleep on the way down, got intimidated by Sando so I jumped back in the bus and made a hasty retreat back to the North! Pensioners have it nice. Just show their IDs and it's free (I think they could go Tobago free too)! 🇹🇹 Sweet too bad!
Lol, I understand the feeling of being in an unfamiliar spot and just wanting to head back to comfort, but Sando norms, lol and yes, we sweet too bad!!!
This is a nice sightseeing bus tour. The bus is clean, and looks comparable to the L.A. private commuter bus system. The Los Angeles public bus system cannot begin to compare to yours in terms of cleanliness and whatever. LOL When they move a few million plus people daily, I guess that they cannot police or keep the buses clean. A few months ago, I got on the bus, and a man was holding a big snake. It might have been a python. The bus driver did not say a word. They were going to Venice Beach. I got off the bus two stops, two minutes later.
Rajeev - I enjoy this trip. I love it - thank you. My first ever trip to Trinidad I had currants-roll at long circular mall. Trinidad is a beautiful country all they to need to hire former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte to clean-up the drugs and corruption. Lol
