- Yvette Fielding assembles her team for a massive two-part Christmas investigation at the foreboding and now disused Gloucester Prison. The vast site is said to be one of the most haunted places in Great Britain, a place that is seen death, fear, pain, suicide and incarceration. Eerily, the prison is built on the rotting corpses of many prisoners, making this a place with a dark and sinister energy and one to be feared.

Not sure if its been said already, but the dragging sound in the Healthcare Wing was just like the sound the lads made when dragging the laundry bags in and out. Great big heavy cloth bags full of bedding, prison issue clothing, etc. That heavy, it was a two-man job and once on the wing, easier to drag across the linoleum. I used to work at HMP Gloucester and can remember that sound, along with all the other noises of a busy working prison. Miss the place, worked with some great people for the few years I was there.
Did you ever experience anything when you worked there?
I worked on the wings as a probation officer, office hours only so never there after 6pm Friday...but the officers told stories, about noises of footsteps at night when working in the office on the wings and the lads were locked up for the night. (They would check and nobody was about and these guys were ex-military so a no-nonsense approach to everything). A Wing, was a place I never felt comfortable, (always felt very comfortable surprisingly on B-Wing) there was an 'atmosphere' on that A wing and a 'bad feeling' especially on the first landing, at the far end, near the large window (I didn't know about the use of those three condemned cells when working there). I would avoid walking that way and take the long way around if I needed to cross the landing to visit a cell on the other side - don't know why, just a bad feeling when near that area. The healthcare wing was ok, except I would run quickly down that stairway and outside even in the middle of the day, gave me the creeps. Other than that I loved the place, and miss working there.
I have watched you guys since the beginning. I really felt for Stuart, Fred got on at Stuart saying, let me do it my way. Fred you just wasn't listening, Stu was trying to help and get on film the items that was being thrown, Stuart maybe I should be your assistant. Keep up the great work. Stuart gets some of the best activity regularly so he has a right to direct what happens during a vigil. He handled that moment VERY well. Fred doesn’t listen to a word the other team members say, sadly.

It’s a wonder Stuart kept his cool when Fred was going off on one, though I did hear him give a little sigh of frustration.He was getting very carried away. I’ve never heard Fred use the F word before, he always seemed to be pretty polite. I’m afraid Fred rather spoils it for me, I don’t think he adds anything to the show.
@@jeanninehochet I think Fred is supposed to be the "spiritual" side of the show, while Glenn is supposed to be the "sceptical" side. Its better to have Fred than some spiritual medium, but i agree we don't need a believer within the show. Everyone believes in ghosts anyway without a demonologist or they wouldn't watch it.
can someone please tell Fred to wear some quiet shoes... ;) And don't be rood to our Stu!

Yep... I reckon he was shit scared and didnt want to go down by himself so snapped at Stuart. Love all the team but him. Did anyone else notice Fred singing along with Yvette ? And I think she thought it was a spirit

I'm really glad you guys have kept the format pretty much the same throughout the years. I watch other ghost hunting shows but it's not the same without Yvette's opening of the show, building the suspense and reviewing everything' at the end. And of course she still shits herself and screams her head off!! Nothing changes and thank God for that. I'll still be watching this show when I'm grey and old ☺️

You've been doing this for so long and when you're all together, it makes sense your combined energies and heightened perceptions of the paranormal would create a phenomenon such as this. Its almost they playing the activity and its more a show. I never have seen so much activity in this program. But they are great nice to see this, but i think you are the real investegators with the real evidence ❤️🙏

I did an investigation here myself a couple of years ago and no way did we get this much!!
Joshua they supposedly get that much wherever they go. I cant believe people are so fooled by them when there are things about them on the internet. They have that many crew members there is always someone available to act out the 'hauntings'.
They're responsible for most of the stone throwing and door slamming. I remember some of their older episodes with spoons being thrown from behind the camera. Was so blatantly obvious. It undermines real investigations. But then, as they state, its all for entertainment.
it really annoys me when the crew wear coats/jackets what make a loud rustling noise and Freds tap dancing shoes echo so much so alot of the time we cant hear the sounds in the back ground, it happens on every investigation.
I don’t expect they’ll be out in dressing gowns and hush puppies any time soon!

I remember watching most haunted and absolutely sh*tting myself back then when it was on the tv. You’ve got some courage going into those buildings. Loved Yvette since the blue Peter days. I even won a blue Peter badge once, when it was her, John and Diane-Louise on the show. I wish Fred had opened his book with the names. Love this show, I have watched the series from the start in 2001, (Michelin Priory). It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I love everything about it, Yvette, Carl, Stuart, etc, the music, the atmosphere and most of all the paranormal stuff. So glad we can watch now on YT.👍👻🥶

Who does Fred think he is? No idea what teamwork means? Didn’t investigate the items being thrown at all, walked away from camera view. Didn’t go down to the 1st to investigate after the spirit saying it was there. Didn’t listen to Stuart at all! I always prefer when Fred isn’t there. If Karl was with Stuart they’d probably have got a lot more on camera!

Most Haunted, as you expect it, but on TH-cam. Love it. 12,000 views in 2 hours. Almost 2 hours, I feel you could have made two episodes instead of one, to keep the dynamics of the narration. The story-telling works better when it's tight in my very modest viewer's opinion.
