thanks for all this information, i binged watch everything for days straight, i come from a MTT background and i win alot at MTT's , lot of final tables but live cash game i feel so off, but now, i am getting it, im up a nice amount this week and i owe it too all the videos
You'll just have to call down more often with good hands. It may (and will) mean bigger swings in the short term; but over the long haul, these are the players you'll build your bankroll off of. Just make sure you're properly rolled for the game you're playing. It can be really hard when online isn't available in your area; because you can't build slowly in micro-stakes. If $1/2 is the lowest game offered where you live, you'll need several thousand dollars to get started playing regularly.
I know what you mean. Playing a tournament yesterday utg +1 opens to $350 I raise on the button to 1300 with kk flop j84 rainbow I bet 1800 he calls turn 8 I shove for 5200 he calls and tables 8/3 off.
I have learned So so much from you Jonathan!! Thank you _ I was too tight and now I see where I can improve and I have improved! I have been following you for months now and I cannot thank you enough
In Texas the 1/2 NL games play like 2/5. For instance, if I were to only raise 3.5X RFI most people will call with the average raise pre-flop being $12 or more. How would I adjust to this? Do i just raise as if it were 2/5?
experiment by seeing how much you can raise with massive hands. if you are more than c. 50bb deep, try raising to $15 with monsters and a few playable if called bluffs and see what happenss. if you continue to get called with your premium hands when raising more than 3-4bb open , then increase raise sizes and it will be easier to shorten the SPR and get allin quciker wirh massive hands v weaker top pairs etc that gamblers will play
Same issue at my local casino, we have a 1/3 table and people tend to raise to 15 pre-flop. I’ll just be the one raising it to 10 instead, and oftimes the rest of table will pivot and start doing the same. I find most casuals raise to 15 just bc that’s what other people do

On cash games I play out position many times we pre-flop aggressively medium pairs and flop come no AKJ there check and they bet I all in 90% rate because they always play Ak Aj AQ,what you think about t that pro good way to go?

The hardest thing for me is putting the bad players on ranges lol sometimes I just assume they play 75% of hands from every position
Play IP and watch how they play strong hands, weak hands, and draws respectively

@@trampingwithcosmo6848 i mean if ur willing to bluff that big you should know there's always a chance they'll call it 🤷🏿♂️
@@SilencerXLR8 it’s not bluffing big. A. At worst it’s a semi bluff
B. It’s less than a pot sized shove
Great info

How do you download it?
I’ve watched and read so many different helpful pieces of content on poker and I still don’t fully understand stack size lol
Understanding stack size is like the basics to be a good player.
Hey Jon, happy belated birthday to you and your kids. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Excellent video, even though the audio may have caused permanent hearing damage. This one is 5x louder than most of your vids.
What is this app? Does it work on Android?
Just downloaded!
Any where I play here in Italy is impossible that nobody limped before the botton ...!!
For 1/2 2/4 live cash game where most of population open just value almost always .. 3betting K7 K8s etc would be disaster isn't it ?

Timestamps would help these nice videos.
What are the top 5 Tips?
Cliff notes, please.
Best easy tip I can give is that every bet should have a reason behind it. If you can't get called by worse or get better to fold, don't bet.
Top 5 tip number one. Don't be lazy actually listen to the video.
talk slow to teach please.
TH-cam has a feature that lets you slow down the video.
You talk fast, a terrible trend...can't watch this because I can't learn in fast forward
you know you can slow or speed up videos on you tube rite ?
go to the little gear and slow down the speed this should help
Slow down the vid to .75
Downloaded , thank you !
