Many people say pipe wrenches ought to be used in pairs!
Hand tight is sufficient, no?
if you dont, to much force will crush the pipe if not held by the second one
Metrics seems simpler
I have that one with the like squiggly wrench thingies in the end
Nice wrench hacks

Is ratchet and socket wrench the same?
Combination wrench same with ratchets wrench??
1. My understanding is that a ratchet or ratchet wrench and a socket wrench are the same thing.
They are a ratcheting handle that accepts different size sockets.
2. A combination wrench is a variation of the normal solid metal wrench that has an open end or jaws on one end of the handle or beam that is sized to fit a specific size fastener.
There are versions where both ends of the beam are open or both ends are closed, which means a ring or boxed end that fits completely around the fastener. This usually means two sized per wrench; one on each end. By the way, "boxed end" does not mean square-shaped. Boxed end means "enclosed" in this case and are exactly the same as ring wrenches. Back in the day some bolts were square head so the ring wrench actually had a square or "box" shaped hole. That's my theory as to where the name came from.
A combination wrench is a combination of the two; one end is open and one end is a box end or ring wrench. Usually both open and closed ends will fit the same size fastener. A set of combination wrenches will be one size per wrench. So a double open end or double boxed end set requires fewer wrenches because each end is a separate size.
I hope that helps.
Cheers.
cheater bars are your friend, just dont exagerate 😂
fun fact:
the pipe wrench is used to beat up drug addicts in an underwater city
